You guys need to be reminded that IT WILL BE REMOVED 2 MONTHS DOWN THE LINE.
Just find yourself a comfortable userChrome.css and go with it as a permanent solution for 4 years before Mozilla decides to re-do the UI again.
Also Waterfox and LibreWolf offer in-settings options to preserve the old UI forever.
