The future of graphic design, usability and readability is going to be interesting. You have already seen it with the massive website fonts and misaligned elements. Now that AI is mainstream it will only get worse.
Firefox mobile is a great example. Its buttons are all in wrong places and it's just irritating to use. The recent version what I'm using also has a memory leak or some other bug and can crash the virtual keyboard when typing.
These are signs of incompetence.

I'm not even that pissed off. At this point having an unneeded change of UI every few years is to be expected.
Despite this, I still can't explain why companies don't learn that they should not change the UI. Like never, ever.
My only regret selling my company was that the first thing the new faggot owners did was change the UI of the main software and everybody complained of course.
If I didn't like money that much and had more courage I would've kept it the same.

Don't worry, when the next redesign comes around you'll probably be nostalgic for this one.

No it's not.
First you have to figure out how to enable the option to do that in the first place
Then you have to create a basic template file
Then you add the lines of code after you tardwrangle someone somewhere to give it to you instead of being a asshole about it
And then next update you have to do it all over again minus the very first thing.

users aren't supposed to mess with them, that's why they have the silly warning in about:config
it was there for testers to rollback and verify when they found a bug in the new theme

For me it's when everyone complains and has to use a workaround to make it not shit so the next time they make it shit they remove the workaround.
I've never known logic like it.

Waterfox or Librewolf but they lag with security updates.
Brave but it has Crypto and Self-served ADs.
Rest is not worth looking at.

They added unnecessary spaces EVERYWHERE. And the versions right before Nova removed the option for disabling animations.

It's a theme, so it changes colors properly, but not stylistic elements such as corners. If you want to unround corners, create a userchrome css file
https://www.userchrome.org/how-create-userchrome-css.html
and paste the following code block into it
 /* Nova Rounding Adjustments */
:root {
--border-radius-xsmall: 1px !important;
--border-radius-small: 2px !important;
--border-radius-medium: 3px !important;
--border-radius-large: 4px !important;
--border-radius-xlarge: 6px !important;

--tab-margin-block: 3px !important;
}
>>
>>109988657
Things like rounded corners should be part of a theme's customization if they are going to keep changing them.

It's garbage. Vertical tabs have been completely fucked. Consistency has been, once again, thrown out the window. We should beat the designers to death. Anyway, the only reason why I stick to this shitty browser is because there is a non-zero chance of being able to unfuck Mozilla's bullshit in some capacity. Chromium also handles both scrolling and text selection in such a retarded manner. Fucking annoying. I fucking hate it all. Fuck. Fuck. I am seething, yes. I am coping, yes. Fuck this bullshit. Fuck you. Fuck Mozilla. Fuck every single contributor to this UI. Burn in hell.

Don't worry. I'll take some time to fix what I don't like. It's just mind boggling. They were getting so close. The consistency was RIGHT THERE. They had FINALLY fixed the context menu's appearance. Just a few more tweaks anddd... NOPE. FUCK YOU. WE'RE REDESIGNING EVERYTHING AGAIN. STARTING FROM SCRATCH.

I'm too lazy to post all
https://github.com/MrGoatsy/FirefoxNovaFix
I think this wasn't posted yet, but I shilled my own github. You'll find it, but barely anyone uses it. I'm not a star collector, but I wish people would just steal my fucking floss code. I have all of this fixed since years and nobody uses it. If one person could only fork my crap and improve it further. I just want to see people doing their own stuff once and see pics how it turned out.

This is what mine looks like. I didn't bother changing anything since it's always been colored like this since I installed it. Now it's just rounder.
>>
>>109990571
It was like that for me too before I touched anything, then I couldn't get it to go back to that theme once I clicked on another to try it.
I don't know what happened.

The latter, I changed my gnome application settings and didn't realize it affected Firefox too. False alarm.

No, it's from AI slop coding.
AI can't ficure out compacted/minimized/less wasted space. It has to be explicitly told how many pixels to do everything.

Firefox redesign reeks, REEKS, of AI slop coding.
