why does the spotify desktop app need over 120 active threads?
>>
>>109958613
119 of those are for data collection and residential proxy services.
the 120th one is for mossad. don't ask about that one.
>>
>>109958613
Use Spicetify, better yet, use Monochrome.

I want to listen to music not rice my player like an incel

It’s explained in bahahad ghita, saar.
>>
>>109958872
With Spicetify you can strip the player so it's just barebones, but you do you homie.
>>
>>109958613
The message board you're using right now has many more active threads than that.
>>
>>109958613
>>109958888
odds are it's just a single website web browser, like the discord desktop app. hooray for bloat
>>
>>109958613
It's a chrome browser with an interface overlay. Do you really think they would make a separate app?
>>
>>109958960
it is 1:1 to the website. only difference is the web browser doesn't let you stream 320 kbps in case you steal the song. and you have to update the app everyday.
>>
>>109959002
Last time I checked you can work around this by using your phone to control the web app, and I'm assuming almost everyone who uses Spotify has the app on their phone.
>>

Electron slop.

Subtract browns and bots and there's just 2 fat guys arguing about allocation across 3 threads.
>>
>>109959156
that still plays 128 kbps. I like the desktop/web UI after I turn off everything I can.

Oh no that's not a good thing.

How sure are you? I don't have premium and don't use Spotify anymore so I can't test any of the premium settings but I just checked and using Spotify connect from my phone to my pc I can play the "high" setting on the desktop web app, which shouldn't be possible if what you're saying is true.

web page open.spotify.com doesn't play 320 kbps.
desktop app, which is basically the web page, plays 320 kbps.
what you use to control the playback doesn't make a difference.
>>
>>109959002
>only difference is the web browser doesn't let you stream 320 kbps
What the fuck? Do people really pay for this shit?
>>
>>109959577
Yep, over bluetooth to their $600 apple airpods max plus+ ultra niggaphones
>>
>>109959539
In that case it's crazy they get away with flat out lying about what audio quality is currently playing.

I stopped using spotify (which I blocked all ads on mind you) once the bald nigga started investing in killer drones. I steal my music and store it locally like the good old days now.
