>fell for the CS school trap>now I'm seeing several different languages at the same time without being able to focus on a single one>memorizing syntax is now is tougher than it should beIt's not over for me already is it? I don't want to vibecode my way out.. I want to learn... How did you guys memorize syntax for C and Python? Python is easier but C is raping me.
>>109958814Just google everything until you memorize it through repeated googling just like everyone else.
>>109958825That's it? that's simpler than I thought.. Thanks.
C syntax is so ubiquitous it's hard NOT to pick it up naturallyAnd Python is basically english

>>109958814Honestly, I learned C and Python when I was 14-15 years old kid. I just sat down and read the books available to me at that times. You read a paragraph from a book, try to make sense of it, and then read a code example that explains the paragraph written above. Then you reproduce this example by hand in a text editor or IDE, run it, see how it works, optionally run it in debugger mode, and go through every line of code. You realize this. Then you open the book again and read the explanations for this example. You move on. It is a monotonous and boring process. Honestly I can't imagine how modern kids, many of whom have concentration difficulties, can read books on programming, mathematics or engineering sciecnes. But nowadays with AI learning programming languages is much easier (and it is also a much more useless activity than it was in the pre-AI era).

>>109958814Just code software with them. Practice with those languages. Also, >>109958907 KYS.
>>109958814If C’s syntax is hard you’re better off dropping out…no other language is as simple and powerful as it is
>>109958814>I don't want to vibecode my way out.. Anon we're well past that being optional.
Just learn C or Cpp most procedural programming languages are the exact same with minor differences
>>109958814>syntax is hardThat's not even the hard part. Perhaps you lack effort, or intention.
