Those AI vibecoding emu guys should attempt Nvidia drivers decomp.Shader compilation stuttering could be eliminated or greatly reduced if we understood Nvidia low(er)-level architecture, patched drivers to allow using binary shaders and did (potentially simpler and faster) translation of console GPU shader binary to PC GPU binary without jumping through hoops of decompilation, intermediary shader lang, compilation and linking by the driver and only then using the shader.Of course the above is not a simple project and would likely take years, but it has to be done for emulation to finally be good.

>>109959364>Shader compilation stutteringthis barely qualifies as a problem. it happens once the first time you ever load the shaders then never again. there are far more important things to work on

>>109959548>it happens once the first time you ever load the shaders then never again. On Switch - depending on the game - it can mean stuttering through first couple hours of gameplay and every time you enter an area you've never been before. It is only kinda solved by predownloading shader cache from someone who suffered through the entire game with stuttering. But from experience it still doesn't eliminate 100% of it.
