mozilla is crying in the comments because people hate the new shit nova design lamo
>>109971186>I like it so stop complaining
>>109971186>>109971197>about:config>change "browser.nova.enabled" to FalseYeah you shouldn't have to do this, but it's a solution for now
>>109971205yeah I know about this but it is also going away soon https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2071454at least the official Proton theme makes the gradient go away: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-proton/so the only option to remove everything is to make a custom css file and play aroundthanks mozilla fucktards
>>109971186people have been complaining about firefox new design since firefox 4 called australis
>>109971186Reddit flair = mozilla fanboyNot mozilla employee
>>109971220yes they did but it was never to this extend lol
>>109971227oh shit, okay didn't know that, thought it was a mozilla shitter
>>109971205>don't worry it's not mandatory (yet kek)that's how it always goes anon. why worry about this little change, it's just optional. yeah, until it isn't.that's why you never accept it in the first place. they're just getting their foot in the door. you need to squash that bitch as soon as it happens. that's how we got trannies btw
>>109971061skill issue
>>109971228it absolutely was thoughpeople hated on every single firefox redesign
>>109971186Why do they have to redesign it? Why can't they just let a good UI remain good?
>>109971252Well compact mode have been "deprecated" for quite a time now. So what? You can still turn it on in about:config. Mozilla have done some performance optimizations for what I'm satisfied. As for those rounded cornerns - I still am able to turn them off and I will be able to do it. Most of the people will like the current design and eventually flock to Firefox which is obviously a good thing. No one loses, everyone wins. Stop fucking complaining for once, I'm so sick of you pessimistic faggots.
>>109971061Stop complaining Rounded corners+compact mode is the best aesthetic change to firefox in years. It's based.
>/g/ keeps shilling Firefox as a power-user giga configurable/customizable thing>Firefox UI update arrives>not a single soul on /g/ knows how to add 2 lines of CSS code to unround shitHahaha, oh wow.
>>109971293they think they will gain new users because of this, while Chrome never or ver very rarely changes their UI and still has the most users. Mozilla is tuning on the wrong side.
>>109971704this is not the point, the point is people who have nothing to do with tech and don't want round corners everywhere, do you think they will blast a nice custom css file out of their asses?
>>109971260Your urlbar is still a circle>.urlbar-background { border-radius: 0px !important }
At least it can be turned offEdge for some stupid reason, probably a jeet or troon decision, put a rounded border around the view portYou used to be able to turn that off, but they removed the options option then even removed the flag
