I heard that it can run all games from ps1-ps5, also can be modded for cheat and mods and such. I also want to play GTA6 without having to wait a year and a half for its PC release. Suggestions?
You won't be able to play GTA 6 on a modded one
>>109986770You could use it as a -gaming device-linux desktop-multimedia station-blu ray burner -local AI inference engine... I think it may be worth it
>>109986770A PS5 is not worth buying
>>109986850if you're trans
>>109986843>-linux desktop>-multimedia station>-blu ray burner >-local AI inference engine...Fuck that nerd shit. I just want it to play games and maybe mod a little bit.
>>109986843>-blu ray burnerwhat
>>109986770It's not fast enough to emulate ps3, I doubt it can do ps4 and ps5
>>109987135it can emulate Ratchet PS3 games at native 4K 60fps on RPCS3 via jailbroken Linux
>>109986770you must be 18 years old to post on this site
>>109988234suck my asshole tranny
>>109988441big words for a 14 yo, you really want a tranny near your asshole?
>>109988457I'm 28, but I wouldn't mind a tranny ravaging me with her big cock. Thought I would prefer she lick the corn out of there first. You interested?
>>109988469you're welcome to /lgbt/faggot
>>109986770You can just buy an unlocked BC-250 and play all that slop in two or three months once the ps5 translation layers dramatically improves.
>>109987357You'd need a lot of speed hacks to emulate any other ps3 games, 8 zen 2 cores with cutdown fpus and low clocks just wont cut it.
>>109988469you're 28 and thinking of buying a ps5? grow up.
>>109988547You have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. A Zen 2 chip can handle the vast majority of the library at full speed. It's only the headline exclusives like the Naughty Dog games and the God of War games that are going to struggle. Even the Sandy Bridge Xeon I was using for a while several years ago could run the majority of stuff fine. I played a ton of Top Spin 4 on that setup. Even a fucking Steam Deck can do a decent amount of PS3 emulation and that's using a heavily throttled Zen 2 CPU.
>>109986770gta 6 will be playable on emulators within a month of release
>>109988563>stop enjoying things, be the dad that stepped up and raise jamals sonNo thanks.
>>109988594How do i get a graphics card that can run above 20fps and under 1000 eurodollars?
>>109986770If you already own a good PC, no. It's possible GTA6 could receive a backport but highly unlikely. You obviously won't have PSN access either.
>>109989300Ask your local Romanian Gypsy, he will help you with that
>>109987032Anon you can play almost any PC game on it if you install Linux.
>>109988594Nope. And that has nothing to do with the progress of emulators, but rather because nobody will be able to dump the game. You need a jailbroken PS5 to dump games, but since there's no disc version there'll be no way to do that on systems running firmware below what the game supports. Unless a new exploit is released for firmwares above 14.00 (or whatever we're up to by the time GTA6 launches), there simply won't be any dump of the game to use with an emulator. That's why TheFlow wanted to keep the last known exploit secret until GTA6 launched, so that they could immediately hack the firmware and give everybody access to it. But that other guy sold out to Sony, so now it won't happen until a new exploit is found (which could take months, years or even decades).
>>109988586The console version is much slower than a desktop zen 2
>>109988586It'll probably do alright in a fair few games, but the PS5 CPU is really crippled, chiefly by the fact that it's using GDDR memory instead of proper system RAM. GDDR is very high bandwidth, which is what a GPU requires, but CPUs heavily benefit from more latency-optimized memory. It's why you basically never see any other device use GDDR as its only memory, on consoles it's basically a cost cutting measure where they knowingly kneecap the CPU in order to get alright performance out of the GPU. I'd expect it to perform a lot worse than a desktop Zen 2.
>>109988563I bought my ps5 at age 40The broads in stellar blade are hot
>>109990055I'm really sad that some AI tech bro reported the exploit. Did that dude make money off the report? I wonder if AI being in the picture helps find new exploits as well even after patches come out... surely no system is bullet proof forever, all it takes is making the task of hacking too daunting, nobody would care to try cracking it. But AI tools help a lot, right? Also not to derail the thread but is it possible that Switch 2 will get some AI assisted hacks in the future?
>>109990055>MITM the download to a clean ps5>Break out hexeditor>Find and bypass firmware versioning checks>Test on older JB ps5 and emuYou know back porting was a massive thing for the PS4 piracy scene right?
>>109988563I'm 37, married, have a son (sleeping next to me right now) and I have a PS5 Pro at my main house; I moved my previous PS5 to the second one.Plus a Switch 2 and a ROG Ally (1st Z1E model).
>>109994337You're retarded. Backporting is ALREADY a thing in the PS5 scene, but that has absolutely no relevance to this situation. You can't bypass versioning checks in a game you don't have access to a dump of. I assume your combination of a low IQ and an arrogant nature leads you to believe that nobody has tried the "brilliant" solution you proposed to work around that. Pity you don't know the first fucking thing about the situation, or you'd know why what you proposed is impossible.
>>109994370NTA but how do you get free time to game? I'm constantly busy with a toddler
>>109987357>it can emulate Ratchet PS3 games at native 4K 60fps on RPCS3 via jailbroken Linuxa pro can. >>109986770>Is a jailbroken PS5 worth buying?jailbreak the PS5 yourself, or forever be a faggot. a PS5 isn't a bad idea. but Sony is going to respond, and start perma banning jailbroken ps5 accounts. I personally would just be a macbook. Buy one that can do local AI. m1 maxes are massively slept on.
>>109995340Mostly when he sleeps and I feel like playing something.Switch 2 is the main thing I play on lately as I can easily use it from the bedroom while staying near him (otherwise I read something on my ereader).
