Learn to plumb I guesshttps://x.com/buraktuyan/status/2106018840383717513
Iām losing control of my bladder
>>109993858Let 'er rip!
Why did they develop this tech? Why can't it only replace the boring jobs?
>>109994353There is definitely a market for it, but yeah. I worked in indie film for about a decade, dealing with actors etc is often a pain in the ass but on the other hand making films is fun and cool because of the people and you gotta take the rough with the smooth. Things like this just render everything down to video product and bring us ever closer to some slpp event horizon.Outside of the creative area this tech is mainly used for corporate bullshit with LLMs doing the personality and for phone scams. This company weirds me the fuck out.
>>109994353It's pretty funny honestly. All desk jobs are pretty much fucked in the very soon future. Then you're going to have millions of people running to other things like trade jobs, flooding those markets, and driving down wages. But when everyone is a plumber there is no need to hire plumbers. Not to mention the classic: when everyone is broke no one can afford goods and services anyway. We're completely unprepared for this. It sucks but it's also exciting in a way because who fucking knows what the future is going to be like. Will something good happen for once? Will we all starve? Are we going to die in some global conflict?
>>109993833You mean narrators right?
>>109993833Buy an ad, faggot nigger.
>>109993833>can they scream like this>doesn't scream instead of sounds like an audio increasehere we go again
>>109994585Cope sadly. I appreciate your effort, but it's cope
>>109994609>can they scream like this>doesn't screamI legit don't get it. Please explain.
>>109994729
>>109994773But where was the scream?
>>109994773>>109994961he was dropped on the head as a child forgive him
>>109994961>>109995025https://vocaroo.com/1hba63rNz8kn
>>109994441Filmmaking using actual film was hard work. There was no way to preview what you were going to get from the negative, you had to know what you were doing with lighting and exposure. Everything about film was expensive.Film is about telling a story well. Something like Strozek is a piece of shit, technically, but it doesn't matter because it tells a good story. Can LLMs tell a good story yet?
>>109995056>StrozekHerzog's Stroszek? That movie is kino
>>109995051That was awful. Is this what they used for training data?
>>109995063what's the matter? never hear a completely natural human scream before?https://vocaroo.com/1hyMUpCDb7N9
>>109995076https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEStsLJZhzo
>>109995088https://vocaroo.com/19LGjaIiPYtV
>>109995107I'm starting to think there just isn't enough training data for screaming. They're going to have to spend millions and build another data center and hire scream specialists just to get screaming to work.
>>109995126i actually think training speech specific models is the wrong approachthe thing that's been proven right over and over again is that in the end scale winsyou should just have a general large audio model that does music, sfx, and speech
>>109995139You'll just have one model producing a bigger variety of slop, it doesn't improve the slop because the datasets remain the same.
>>109995126Just use stock screams like the soundstudios have been doing for like 60+ years now in hollywood films
The thing is people don't want to see ai, they want to see something someone made. That's why slop is called slop
>>109995165You can just hire a jeet for $5 to scream into a microphone for an hour.
>>109995166Fuck what those niggers want, shit slaps
>>109995166Nah I want leftists out of jobs
>>109995166>The thing is people don't want to see ailmao this nigger actually believes this
>2024>it's over for artists>2025>it's over for artists>2026>it's over for artistsWhen will artists stop winning?
>>109995172BLOOODY BIIITCH BaSTART AAAHHHHH
>>109995189When they stop with their AI psychosis and start using the tools
>>109995219>shit sucks>no this time it's goodLMAO FAGGOT
>>109995156i think i've seen examples of suno where it's been able to screami think there's enough adjacent stuff in metal that the model could generalise better
>>109995264>enough adjacent stuff in metalWhy not pigs? >>109995088
>>109995166Why are so many people using AI then?
its got that AI look still
>>109997132What are they using it for? Can I see it?
>>109997132What is bandwagon fallacy?
>>109997151No, I don't think so. If I had heard that in a cartoon or something I wouldn't have been able to tell it was AI and I don't think most people would, either. I get it that if you're really used to working with voices there's probably tells here and there, but for most people it would be like being able to tell FLAC and high bitrate mp3s apart. Possible? I won't bet against some people telling given good enough gear. Likely that the average person will? hell noIt does sound absolutely terrible though, like an average American voice actor and I think it's insanely cringe, but that's a different story and so is the question of whether it's able to do more nuanced voices not aimed at someone with the mental development of a toddler
>>109993833This is wild
If AI voice acting is so good then where are all the skyrim mods?
>>109994558jump into an acid vat, sperg autist.
>>109999950Am I cutting into your profit margins, you subhuman nigger?
>>109994353>Why can't it only replace the boring jobs? That's coming too.
>>109993833Another vibeGOD victoryGet fucked artTRANS
>>109995056I have not tried using LLMs for story, although I think they get the concepts of story beats nad other mechanical aspects. But when I think about using AI for film I think of rendering pictures/video in line with a script or storyboard, rather than writing the screenplay or treatment. LLMs 'know' what is taught in screenwriting books and courses, but having read many of them they can't tell you what makes a good story, only provide storytelling techniques.
>>109994481it can all be traced back to Sam Altman. if he hadn't cornered the market on RAM and only bought what was reasonable without fucking every person who buys any device with a CPU or stores data then AI would grow at a reasonable rate and we'd have time to integrate these products properly. instead what you have is Sam Altman's AI psychosis fever dream where entire sectors are laid off and heading to the unemployment office.
>>110000039you're in every thread every hour of the day. there's 3 options: 1 you're a terminally online AI psychosis autistic nut whose special interest is LLMs and in a parasocial relationship with your AI agent2 you're part of a team of shills shilling for AI companies3 you're a bot I'm leaning towards 1 you're a lone obsessive nut
>>109997132Like 1% or less uses generative AI excluding LLMs. Not even AI CEOs like this shit like Dario.
Two more weeks. You told us the same shit years ago. Art isn't even what provides income for me :-)>t. artist
