Early zoomers got a taste of the old web though.

You won't find that place again since culture and demographics shifted away from that period.
In the early 2000s there was no mass push for monetization yet, and a large portion of the active userbase on public websites was very obviously underage and from middle-income first-world families.

Beyond stupid haircuts and babbling like a retard I mean
>>
>>110002760
they inhabit corpo sanitized spaces that have to be advertiser friendly as opposed to shitty forums run by literally whos who barely cared.

that said tiktok has plenty of room for negroid inspired zoomer memes and chinese psyops.

You don't go anywhere. You change your approach to the internet.
Unfortunately most "small web" or early internet initiatives have been captured by trannies.
Install Palemoon and use the Redirector extension to automatically redirect you to minimal and alternative front-ends. Set up RSS feeds with a reader and ftp links in your file manager. Install youtube-local. Use bookmarks. Set up autoforwarding in GMail to an alternative email service like vfemail.net. Set your search engine and homepage to ddg.gg/lite or ddg.gg/html. Prefer sites with a more classic layout like anidb instead of MAL. Disable JavaScript on sites that don't really need it and use a custom stylesheet to hide broken elements.
Being forced to use the web with bloated sites and popups in Chrome is a tax for being lazy or illiterate.
>>
>>110002760
They're measurably, empirically dumber and didn't develop any imagination from playing around in the woods with their buddy
>>
>>110002774
Surface level bullshit that fails to capture the soul of the old pre-phone internet, back when it was too spooky for normies to pollute
>>
>>110002760
Well internet now is hella different than it was in the past
>>
>>110002774
Stop pretending, it was about people not this decorative shit

they also exist in a state of hyper-socialization and have a censor living in their head rent free. "don't say or even think this or you'll be cancelled, doxxed, life ruined, just go along with the current groupthink, dogpile on the wrongthinkers and you'll be safe", it even goes as far as saying "don't even try anything new because you might suck at it and that will be cringe"
millennials didn't care what random people on the internet thought and just did things anyway even if they were cringy in hindsight, putting your real personal details online instead of using pseudonyms was considered stupid as hell as is was widely assumed that random internet people had a non-0% chance of being a morbidly obese sex offender eating pizza rolls in their mom's basement until proven otherwise.

Very true - zoomies are scared to do anything particularly in public, because they know people will whip out their phones and start recording them for TikTok content.
>>
>>110002949
ever seen any venues or concerts these day? They don't dance for shit, just stand around and record for their tiktoks the whole way just to drop a 10 sec video with a reaction.

It is "decorative", actually. It's about a sense of comfyness you get when you log on and it's just a computer and not a terminal to hell. If it was about people this would be a total non-issue. You're connected to the whole world and cannot find communities worth engaging with? They may be harder to find but they're still there.
Attention is currency. Finding worthwhile people is surface level, the revolution is redefining the internets in our image, create an environment that would allow our "internet culture" to grow in a modern context.
