I'm seeing more and more going the tattooed hair dots route. Basically completely shaved but they got tiny dots tattooed so it looks like they intentionally shaved a full head of hair. Looks convincing but at the same time you're still kinda bald.

Cause now I'm still going to be forever seething anyway at how annoying having broken hair is going to be in daily life even if it slows it down or stops it.

It's always receding hairline or growing bald spot but my hair thinned out completely evenly across the whole top of my head EXCEPT the very front which lagged behind (somewhat like in the pic). Now that my dome is completely bare I still have enough in the front that if I let it grow a little then from the front it doesn't look like I am that bald but it looks really stupid when I tilt my head so I just shave my whole head clean periodically.
