I've been uploading web flacs that some people actually listen to and CDs for a few months now and keep seeing my uploads snatched and transcoded by racing transcodeniggers (0 "Perfect" FLACs, 500+ MP3s, never created a new group, never had to find new material to upload, etc.). If this is the new blood they're allowing into the cabal, then they have what's coming to them: Indian-style enshittification.

Generally, what a joke of a tracker. if you ever download a popular new release from the same few users with their scripts and check the tags, you'll find a bunch of junk tags from the various streaming services they're ripping from. Genuinely a dumping ground, and the bar is so low. The amount of shitty uploads is incredible, and of course, no one's going to waste their buffer and time fixing and trumping them since there's no incentive. Unlike movie trackers that enforce some naming schemes, as long as the folder contains the album name, it's pretty much fair game, so you end up with a mess of a folder unless you link its contents and fix the names yourself, but then why even bother with the tracker, if most things are easily rippable from streaming, and I can do a better job tagging, naming, organizing, etc?
