It's over. AI can do cybersecurity without human assistant.
>>
and this does affect flock cameras?

watch this video. It's insane how good AI's become.
>>

AI can do offensive security because the problem is well defined, tightly bounded, and desired end states are easily verifiable. That's basically the stars aligning for RL, so post training a model to be good at offense is almost trivial if you have enough compute to throw at it. Defense on the other hand has so many competing interests to balance, a huge problem space, and lacks true verification. Which makes it really hard to train competent blue team AI, and since you cant actually verify the end state it's really hard to get the market to trust that your AI defender will work properly. So blue teams arent getting replaced anytime soon but red teams might.

>run ghidra
>text lookup
yeah, its worrying.
its also pretty simple.

worrying nonetheless

buy an ad

>>110024625
What's your point?
>>
>>110024503
Another vibeGOD victory
Fuck securityTRANS
>>
>>110024715
llms suck at generating code but theyre great search engines with fuzzy capabilities
and with harnesses they can even not only create a coherent plan but also execute it
despite being deeply flawed in some of the advertised applications, theyre still exceedingly useful in others

and this is one of the places where an llm can shine
>>
>>110024503
>>110024563
Blatant advertisement
>>
>>110024715
also:
now hacking has been kinda democratised
at least reverse engineering of sloppy engineering

either shits gonna become much more secure, by virtue of using the same tech to patch exploits
or everything will be open like sievves
because offence might become less difficult than attack
but the status quo of security will change 100%

and REfags are keked, i didnt see that one coming
>>
>because offence might become less difficult than attack
because offence might become less difficult than *defence

im half asleep
gonna catch some zizz i think gnite anons
>>
>>110024535
>this does
Lol.
>>
>>110024503
Im so sick of this guy and his fucken thumbnails with his fucken stupid face
Fuck off and buy an ad
>>
because offence might become less difficult than *defence
preemptively:
lets take a codebase infinite in size, so with an infinity of bugs to be found

lets say the llm becomes a major factor in parsing the expanse of code
lets assume it takes 1:1 tokens to patch an exploit vs finding it

defending against attack becomes a losing game because you have a wide breadth of code you need to spread your tokens on
while your attacker can focus all his compute on one specific angle

so it is possible that theres a point where attack becomes cheaper than defenece, especially with understaffed infrastructures
ok im going to sleep now, for reals
>>
>>110024503
Hope the age of jailbreak is upon us. No more ads and forced corpo bloatware garbage. Free the electronics.
>>
>>110024766
Yeah this was a predictable outcome, see >>110024570

>llms suck at generating code
lol

confirmed retard
>>
>>110024503
This has been true for a while.
>IDA pro
No. Use the radare harness.
>>
>>110024503
If AI is so good why hasn't it replaced your youtube boyfriend?
Checkmate faggot.
>>
>>110024570
>Which makes it really hard to train competent blue team AI
Not really. You don't use it to design your security. You use it to verify. It's like an automated log monkey who knows how to pull the plug and alert you.
>>
>>110024757
this nerd is ok

coding worked 90 years well but suddenly 2 startups changed your mind. How does it feel to be mindcontrolled? go touch some grass unemployed retard.
>>
>>110024735
Soon your country will be full of flock cameras.
>>
>>110025139
People still pay for IDA? That's wild

>67 trillion boot lickers
And you're a sperg, you first.
>>
The example is just security through obscurity nonsense
>Look it decrypted the firmware
Obviously the package has to be able to decrypt it to push the fucking firmware.
>but it was so fast
And what are you going to do with the end result? It's a monitor firmware? Who gives a shit?
>>
>>110025216
Spending your entire life promoting youtube men and generating ad revenue for them while you are poor faggot loser is sad man.
Kill yourself. Or better yet as you love AI so much replace them with your awesome AI (you can't).
AHAHAHAHAHA
>>
>>110025228
delusional
>>
>>110026161
Of course you are, son of disappoint.
>>
Reverse engineer everything. Starting with apple products.
>>
>>110026174
get this man to the infirmary!
>>
>>110025152
Im describing the reasons why it is harder to post train a model to be a good blue teamer compared to red teaming. It is much harder to design good RL environments for defense compared to offense. Have you used any AI SIEM tools? I can't really comment on the current state of the product landscape but back when I was a defender they all sucked. But if your experience has been different I would love to hear about it.
>>
>>110025221
Nearly every time I've dumped and unpacked IoT firmware tons of bugs immediately fall out, I dont see why a smart TV would be any different. Something about IoT developers makes them allergic to security best practices.
>>
you know how AI cant remove watermarks thats hardcoded in them? when until AI is made to detect private software and refuses to decrypt?
>>
>>110026279
you know how AI cant remove watermarks thats hardcoded in them?
Really, it can.
>>
>>110024503
I hate this stupid fucking idiot and seeing his retarded face in my feed all the time.
>>
>>110024563
I'm two minutes in and this faggot doesn't know you can open exe fw updaters with zip/rar tools and needs to do it via binwalk to look hax0r? What a fucking faggot
