What are your small, obvious signs that a foss dev can be trusted? For me, its when a software that has no business going online doesnt even try to do it — it would get blocked anyways — but the fact that it doesnt even try, not even to query for updoots, it just .. it just warms my heart ok.
>>110030855when the dev profile either has a based anime girl or his obviously non-commie non-jewish face as a profile picture, or if their location is set to gensokyo
>>110030855When the code actually works and has no backdoors. This is the only criterion
>>110030855Like most communists, only when they're swinging from a lamp post can you even start to trust them.
>>110030855I never encountered bad software by trans people
>>110030974Buy an ad, literal faggot.
>>110030974>trans peopleif they are really really, really people, why did you feel the need to mention it?
>>110030855>—Why do I keep seeing this long line everywhere now? How are you supposed to even read it?
>>110030974the only software I cant think about that was made by such trans, transexuel, hm coss dressing people, is actually quite solid. I've been using it since I was a teen.
>>110031012Because AI loves it. It's just a slightly longer pause than usual
>>110031012Its an academic parenthesis, so instead of writing : >I love you (a little)you can write >I love you — a little.I'm smart and I show it every chance i get, yes even to anons.>>110031024Jokes on you, the world of academia long existed before ai, and shall be here long after
>>110031024>It's just a slightly longer pause than usualSo, a comma?
>>110031047>Its an academic parenthesis,No>Jokes on you, the world of academia long existed before ai, and shall be here long afterCorrect, but anon as why he is seeing it *now*. I liked using emdashes>>110031052Yes but it has a different connotation and is less ambiguous than a comma. For example you'd not use an emdash for enumeration.
>>110031063>>Its an academic parenthesis,>Noit literally is, I learned about it about a decade ago while reading academic papers. I adopted it because its so elegant and allows great visibility, unlike the usual parenthesis. Notice how its not a simple - but a proper, looooooong — you dont find that anywhere on the keybord son, I made a small AHK script to be able to write it on command, that how far i was willing to go, you feel me?
>>1100311542/10, I wish I could call this bait
>no social media links>dev blog is sporadic technical posts>uses emacs
