Yeh, or a high quant of 27B with mtp. Qwen 4 will be out soon. May be worth waiting if you have particularly difficult stuff queued up.
>>
>>110032694
They're doing recurrent transformer layers instead of just straight layers.
So you get huge cache locality which makes them fast and the models tend to perform like ones about 10x larger.

What's a good way to get a full text dump of an AI session? I'm writing stories and I want to get the whole thing into local files.

Yes, I tried asking the AI to make me one. It -kinda- works, but the AI keeps rearranging blocks of text or repeating sentences. It's like it's 'reprompting' each of my past commands instead of just dumping the text that it has access to.

Nothing exists on the market yet that is a phone app, and you just prompt what you want to achieve (like a vacation idea) and the agent automatically researches, schedules, books tickets and hotel, automatically pays them, and setup all interpersonal communications before departure.
All usable by grandma without any technical know-how, without installing a harness, setup API key etc.
We are still at the early adoption phase where most agent harness users are programmers. Once everyone starts using it the demand for tokens will explode even more.

After seeing that Gemma 4 E4B in 8-bit precision gets 11~12+ tokens/s token generation speed with MTP, purely on the CPU with dual channel DDR4-3600 memory, I'm not really that worried anymore. To my shock, only one stick of ram was recognized. The recognized stick booted in both slots, but the non-recognized stick didn't post by itself and if I reversed the sticks it doesn't even react to power button.

I think that Threadripper Pro 3000WX and 5000WX support UDIMMs, although you might want to double-check that. If you go this route, get one with enough CCDs to saturate the memory controller.
And 32GB RDIMMs aren't too awful in terms of price per unit if you don't get DDR4-3200. I see a box of 8x32GB DDR4-2666 for $1500. Currently there's not a ton of reason to get 8x64GB instead of 8x32GB + a GPU since most of the big models fit in 256GB of RAM + a half-decent GPU. You won't be running Kimi, but GLM-5.3 Flash, MiniMax-M3, DeepSeek V4 Flash, or MiMo V2.6 Flash would all fit fine at 4+ bpw in 256GB.
You could also look at Cascade Lake engineering samples, they only have 6 channels but they have better memory controllers and AVX512. The thing is that there's a great way to boost pp on CPU-heavy systems (which llama.cpp will never implement, you gotta vibe-code it, use someone else's patch if you're using an R9700, or use my fork in 2 miku weekus) which is largely dependent on PCIe speed, and PCIe 3.0 will hamstring that. I'd guess that it'd hurt expert caching a bit too.

for me, it's:
- separate user
- no sudo
- internet access blocked via nftables (restricted to only the model ports on loopback)
- hidepid-mounted /proc
- pid namespaces
- per-user /tmp mounts
- nono sandboxing
>>
>>110034394
I guess it depends on the permission settings. For me I would always have the sandboxing very aggressive so functionality was limited by that. But anyways one of the main advantages I saw was being able to seamlessly work from my PC and my phone at the same time, anywhere, anytime.

There is no data wall because data isn't really how modern models get better anymore. Pretraining is only 6% of compute nowadays. The big gains come from RLVR which doesn't need datasets. I'm using Qwen3.8-9B-Distill Q5 and it's absolutely retarded when it comes to Love2D Lua. I've had to correct it numerous times because it keeps getting the names of functions wrong and putting the code in the wrong order. Would increasing the quant fix this? I can go to Q8 easily I just wanted to see if Q5 would give me a faster tok/s (it does) Is there a way I can get it to learn the API so I don't have to remind it every session?

I still think default 35B is an underrated model, especially on /lmg/. I know jeets gave it a bad rep but that’s only the retarded tunes. Default model still has no competition since release. 26B is only marginally better for chatting but it’s way more sensitive to quantization. Looks unlikely they’ll be a Qwen4 35B but they might be keeping it secret as a surprise because there’s been so much demand for it.

fairly skinned friends.
I'm using llmao and an agentic harness... now i set parallel requests to 1 because I NEED max context. the issue is that this guy spawn like 4 parallel sub agents so every time the KV cache of each agent and the orchestrator gets FUCKED and it loses a lot of time doing prompt processing.
now is there a mechanism to alleviate this? maybe dumping the KV cache to RAM or DISK when it goes unused?
otherwise I'll just remove the harness

Summarizing emails and chats, analyzing images, managing calendars can be done much better with a few small distilled models. Less RAM requirement, less power draw and most likely less hallucination and more precision.
>>
>>110036414
Depends whether you want to fit everything in GPU or most of it. It's a trade off. With 32GB SysRAM you can use 20GB of it for the model and load working experts into GPU, however SysRAM will slow you down but you get more smarts.

Fundamental flaw in thermals. You can already run models on 10 year old flagships, but they heat up in a minute to become unusable. Most will just use cloud models through the phone.

Should just pivot to a headless unit that you use through wlan.

Seated cross-legged on a messy bed piled with rumpled navy and white sheets, Gemma holds a fanned hand of Uno cards up to her face to hide her smug expression, one gleaming half-lidded eye peeking over the cards with a sly, scheming grin. The crossed Uno discard pile sits between her cards and a single "+4 Wild" laid on the duvet. A bright red Uno card is being played toward the viewer's side of the bed — her move is a trap. Scattered on the quilt around her: a spilled Uno deck, a few upside-down cards, a candy wrapper. Warm cozy bedroom lighting from a bedside lamp, soft bokeh, cozy cluttered composition, anime slice-of-life key visual, playful comedic tension, highly detailed, masterpiece quality.

Thanks. I thought the style looked familiar.

Very nice, thank you. The artist completely deleted everything from his pixiv years ago despite his art being faptastic, it's insanely depressing.

I love living in a country where I don't have to step in human feces.

I hope your country gets to discover bacteria soon.

Running the orchestration model that prompts your phone for you? Also generating real time video won't be possible on mobile for a long time

all the ones people post on the local image generation threads (sdg and the like) are uncensored. similar to llm's one of the major advantages of local ones is that you can generate your loli/fetish porn with them (and lets be honest, even if you could do it one a cloud service, would you want to?)

nothing beats custom images to go alongside your llm stories/rp

(warning: NSFW, i left the comfyui workflow in there if you want the prompts i used, it's just the default anima workflow otherwise)

Gemma-chan in Ujiie Moku's style. Also her taking it up the butt, onegai
>>
>>110038200
i don't generate stuff with guys in them. anima's pretty small, like it uses <5G vram while generating them so you don't need much hardware for it
adding "ujiie moku" doesn't seem to do anything, i've only really use loras for characters, haven't tried doing a particular artist's style so not sure how to

I tried hui hui 5.3 flash. I really liked how it is noticeably more retarded and constantly misattributing who did what to who or who has what. You can really feel the brain damage that went into this.
