I've been programming in c for a couple of months now, and I decided I wanted to go to low-level or bare metal because that's fun, but I've been searching for and haven't really found a good guide that teaches you how to go from normal c knowledge to low-level stuff. I have already experimented a little with a simulated DE1 using arm assembly and I was thinking of something like that or maybe a way to get into driver development but not overly hard or overwhelming at first. I'm thankful for anyone's advice on the topic.
AI WILL TAKE OUR JOBS AND KILL US ALLIT'S SO OVER
>>110039486Sadly true but we can still code for fun
>>110039471Just ask AI to teach you until you get tired and just let the AI do it

>>110039578Thanks alot, I'll be checking that out
>>110039578>This section of the site is dedicated to gameboy emulation. I will explain everything thats involved with emulating this system here. My own emulator has about 95% compatibility but with no sound. Woah... I have so much to learn...
i like listening to penis music do yall. nyways im currently learning console apps in c++ n doing fart in Krita and Flash n shit, mm, i hope whoever is the ceo of Google and OpenAI n david bazooka fucking blow their brains out n their head goes KABOOM!!! yipi
>>110039634Kinda off topic but do yall think Terry davis would have hated or loved modern ai?
Where is a good learning site to learn C?

Grab yourself an stm32 dev board (arm) or a $2 weact ch32v003 (risc-v but the hal is almost identical to stm32), and just start hammering away. Familiarize yourself with whichever ide/ debugger (CubeIDE for ST, mounriver studio for ch32)Blinky Button polling Button external interruptsBasic timer stuffADCPWMThen you can play with more exotic communication protocols like i2c.As you're going along you'll find tons of resources for any particular given project.

>>110039471I recommend you to use AI
>>110039767If you're going to be an obnoxious faggot, at least don't be an overt troll. Give him some prompts to get started. I will say, chatbots are uniquely bad at embedded C, because they have a very limited register level source material to steal answers from, and usually at best they just spit a paragraph directly from the RM at you, often with errors, and can offer almost no clarification on the underlying concepts.
>>110039795Anon when was the last time you used a frontier coding agent?
>>110039841Are you telling the kid to spend $200/month to learn to blink an led?Don't (you) me ever again.
>>110039851>AI requires a $200/month subscriptionwhy are you lying?
>>110039471You should start by getting a $20/month subscription to Anthropic Claude and forget coding by hand, ludite.

>>110039683There are none. You're doomed to LARP with pathetic one-upisms on /g/ because your favorite language is a segfaulting piece of crap with a committee that can't be assed to solve UB.
