you "need" more?
yea, i 'need' my arm to be free of shackles
>>110045638>moddedI don't, but apparently you do.
>>110045682it's factory og saar
>>110045722Is it now?
>>110045638I can't imagine anyone older than a 12yo wearing a wristwatch like this but maybe even they'd get bullied.
>>110045638The point of a watch these days when we all carry smartphones is to make you look rich. It's jewelry. The watch function is obsolete anyway...because you have your phone on you or near yoy. You want one of those expensive, mechanical swiss ones. These digital Casios make no sense unless you're a child or are looking to impress fellow geeks.
I don't wear jewelry.
do you even know the planetary rotation of mars? pleb watch
uhh ya, i like not thinking of it and it just working>no seconds drifting>no DST adjustment>no leap year adjustmentjust werks
>>110045682>moddedAnon, Casio sells the Bin Laden in a metric fuckton of color variations. The one on OP's pic is the F-91WB-7A.
>>110045638no, I need less. I have a fucking phone in my pocket.
>>110045901I'll never understand phonefags. The reason I started wearing Casios was because it got too cumbersome for me to pull out and wake up my phone every time I wanted to check the time. Now I just look at my wrist, takes less than pulling the phone out.
Manchild thread. It tells time, I don't care if it's a Rolex or a plastic toy as long as it can tell time.
>>110045932>plastic toyThat plastic toy will tell time better than a Rolex..
>>110045919>have this multi-role device that I always have to carry around without any exceptions because we live in CURRENT YEAR>it tells the time and takes literally half a second to glance down to check>but nah fuck that noise I'm going to wear some clunky off-balance bracelet so I can let everyone know how much of a hipster manlet I amit's even worse if you use a computer in any frequency since all you'd need to do is check the corner of a screen for the time. Watches only make sense in extremely niche scenarios where tracking time is actually important an your hands are in active use. Which, let's be real, you're not participating in because your dumb ass is posting on 4chinz/g/ about a cheap, shitty digital watch.
>>110045975great, money saved, no fucks given
>>110045932Casios are kinda based though. When I was working in the kitchen it was pretty popular with cooks. Especially G-shocks that can handle a beating. Also whatever's left of skater and BMX scene
>>110046019Yep.
>>110045638Not a fan of ball and chain on my wrist
there is no difference with 1k rolex and a internet of things watch that syncs every hour.
>>110046035Why are you beating your watch? Also you can buy like 50 plastic ones for the proce of one casio. You can best them for fun. The only negative is there is no waterproofing so you gotta take it off when you shower, like once every 2 weeks.
>>110045638I need the best
>>110045638mom said it was my turn to post /g/ consoomers ragebait :c
>>110046087Do you even know how hazaedous kitchen work can get during rush hour? Those skaters and BMXrs are constantly trying to pull new trick so they fall all the time. I've seen the battlescars.
>>110046115>>110046087Is this how bots talk to each other?
>>110046115Then don't let skaters into your kitchen. Jesus christ, you people are clueless.
This is the only watch I use. I only wear it for formal events where I'm wearing a suit, or at an interview. In these situations it feels better to check the watch rather than pulling out your phone. Strict schedules usually matter more in these situations too, so it makes sense.
>>110046128Can't they're one and the same bro
Has Casio ever made a digital wristwatch with a somewhat passable leather strap?
>>110045656>mindclock
>>110046165yes
>>110046000yeah well I think it looks cool and aesthetics are important so fuck you
>>110046165Leather is shit, it's gonna start smelling like sweat after a while
>>110046000These sceanrios are extremely niche when you never go outside. Then the clock on your screen is sufficient as that's all you look at all day.
>>110046236I assure you that 9 out of 10 fantasy scenarios you think it "totally matters" for are either not time sensitive in the least(meaning knowing/tracking the time is irrelevant) or can be much more easily and more efficiently solved by a communal, permanently affixed clock.
>>110046280Yeah lets count bongs!
>pulls out phonehow about you keep it in your pocket and just say hey google, tell me what time it is?
What the fuck is this?
>>110046378Your next watch.
>>110046378it's the leatherman watch
>>110046339>>pulls out phoneThat's like asking to get robbed nowadays by some drive by masked fucks on a scooter
>>110046399Where the fuck do you live?
>>110046387I'd rather the same strap on OP pic's watch.
>>110045889>F-91WB-7AMy mistake then. Looks gud. Might hijack a plane, I dunno.
>>110046414any densely populated urban area is like this
>>110046399you know you can just slide it half out and glance down right? You don't need to pull it all the way out and bring it up to your fat face and squint just to find out what time it is.
>>110046378>he hates the James Bond Specialngmi
>>110045638a rare case of perfected technologyfuck off with that yee yee ass white colout tho
>>110045638Yes, a tiny bit more.I need it for work so I can quickly check the time without squinting, even while wearing protective glasses and a mask.Just brought this, arrives tomorrow.Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgz_LbvKwYE
>>110046470well what if it's really sunny?
>>110046378Least shitty alternative I could find was picrel, doesn't seem like it's available to order at all though.
>>110046091>titaniumlet me guess, same acrylic cristal as the $5 ones?
>>110045638Watches are useless ever since cern or whoever else started to fuck with time. It now moves faster, and not even in a consistent way. Relying on machines that tell the time is deceiving. You should get used to estimating time passing with your mind. It can be quite accurate, and as a bonus, you can detect whenever time is being fucked with.
>>110046517Just buy an F91W for 20 bucks + a nice strap, man.>>110046563>acrylic """cristal"""PLASTIC nigga, plastic. Also I dunno.
>>110045774You are seriously retarded.
>>110045901>he doesn't know the battery can die
you don't need more than you smartphone, grandpa
>>110045774First: like it or not, excessive looking at one's phone is still considered a low class thing to do. It implies there's something more important one could be doing. A stealth glance at a watch is better for tracking the time.Second: the Casios with the step tracker do improve your health. You do make better walking decisions while wearing it. I park farther away from my errands, and the entrance of my work, as well as wander around aimlessly to pick up a few hundred steps here or there. Having this strapped to your wrist and most importantly *visible by default at a glance* rather than within an app is key.Third: having an easily accessible stopwatch allows you to be very accurate in tracking time for ad hoc reasons. If someone says "give me 15 minutes", I just start the stopwatch. If I want to measure mid day transit time somewhere when I'm driving, I just hit start. This way you don't have to remember a starting time that you always forget. Plus, when people learn you do this, they are more accurate when talking to you, like my wife saying:>I just ordered food, you should leave here to pick it up in 13 minutesand I just hit start without giving a shit what time it is or remembering anything. This is why I wear a Casio with step tracker.
>>110046629I still remember when normalniggers were all getting iPhone 4s with its glass screens. A month later they were all walking with those screens cracked and couldn't afford to fix them, because they're normalniggers and most likely got into some arguments with their BFs or GFs via text and threw the thing in rage at a wall or lost them in toilets.
>>110046629>be a junkie phone addict like me grandpaI just asked for the time. Chips in the bag, zoom zoom.
>>110046647 (Me)Also underrated is combining step tracking with the stopwatch to burn very small chunks of time accurately. If you have an appointment or meeting in say 7 minutes that you're early to, you can pick a direction, walk exactly 3 minutes, turn around, walk back exactly the same way, and be one minute early. You _could_ do this with a phone, but nobody _does_, because the moment you fuck with your phone the desire to refresh furryfag.net takes over. The net result is you arrive earlier to things and accumulate more misc steps burning time and spreading your exercise throughout the day, which is better for you than being idle all day with one gym hour going max.
>>110046578Plastic is also redundant here, as "acrylic" implies it."Crystal" is correct tho when talking about watches.
>>110046472It wouldn't be so shit if the golden accents weren't powder coated plastic that'll quickly turn to shit.
