It's a decent gateway distro if you are looking to move to Linux. Just dont stay on it for too long if you actually care about freedom because it's barely any better than Winblows or Crapple

I just dislike the notion that it's an easy entry to Linux for newcomers, it put wrong ideas in my head initially when I was clueless.

People may bitch and haw about Windows but its the most popular operating system for a reason - people don't care about privacy, morals or freedom-to-do-X as much as people care about convenience. First and foremost, people want products to be convenient so they can do less work. Simple as.
