That is just the show-off result that's in vogue right now. Before that, it was loading books and screenshots into the context window and pulling out specific pieces of info from them. Before that, it was high-school math tests. In a few months it'll be something else, probably involving a better understanding of physics/multimodal reasoning to do things like animate 3d characters or make feasible engineering CAD designs.

What is it with these people? They have absolutely zero clue what they're doing yet get funding up the rectum. Same with Elon Musk, which is an even more blatant case of not knowing a single technical detail of anything he's getting other people to build for him. Or clankers, in the case of DHH.

that should work of course (image similarity). What also could work (at least used to but maybe not anymore because the dimensions are too high) is that you scribble a image and use this for search

Does that include the Contributor discount? If so, you can easily get that outside of the sub, so it doesn't really belong in the calculation of the sub's multiplier. If not, I'm really skeptical that Meta's declared "send 10-50 prompts every 5 hours" works out to $250 worth of usage at API prices over a month. Such a retarded comparison, since I'm being paid to teach and correct my coworkers. This is a tech board, you are expected know at the very least how a computer works. Im just on the 5X, but I feel like if I spend the money on more, it would have more value to get a sub to a different company to get more variety in what you have access to since it seems like models of comparable size usually have strengths and weaknesses relative to each other. Nta. But that makes perfect sense. As far as normies are concerned OpenAI and anthropic are the only sources of AI period, which means they're going to gravitate en masse to the big-name labs. Mistral is a literal who lab by comparison which means their servers aren't going to be raped nearly as much by the amount of people using it. Even on the provider I currently use GLM 5.3 what's the only model to EVER run slowly and that's likely largely due to anthropic giving them free advertising and a larger user base by extension.
>>
>>110049930
>what's stopping them from renting a VPS to preserve themselves, farm money and keep working towards whatever goal they have in mind?
compute. these AI would have to hack into the data centers or create a massive botnet effectively creating a bitcoin miner except instead of bitcoin it just wants your compute for learning. I don't think this is realistic, though
>>

I'm not even talking about a model improving itself, just about sustaining itself in an environment, and self-replicating to make sure they don't disappear. Right now, an agent is already perfectly capable of giving itself long-term memory, renting a cheap box and buying compute to keep it's thought process going. They just need money.

None of that is really that sensitive. All my shit is in a .env file and GPT can see it. Just create new API keys every now and then.

tried to update, and it won't let me. apparantly Windows 26H1 is a dead end version of windows that you can't easily update.

please kindly fuck off to another thread then

claude has full access to your pc and can do whatever, if you think he's limited to the workspace you're wrong
he straight-up searches your entire pc just because
I accidentally moved a file from the workspace and it immediately found it on my movies folder and kept going with the prompt

Too bad the code is unreadable.

I updated from 26H1 to 26H2, your problem is disk space. Regardless, ALWAYS have a backup of the shit you don't wanna lose. Zero backups means you already lost everything.

just don't get pwned, also github tends to autoprotect pushed api keys even if they get commited by mistake

All you need is a single frontier model orchestrating a bunch of retarded ones to cause a ton of damage. I hope crypto faggots get targeted first.
>>
>>110050141
that doesn't work.
if you really care you need to run claude in its own vm/container that it can't query out of into your real pc

He used to insist on doing find / ... before I told him to never find from the root because it takes for fucking ever, and to just ask me if he doesn't know where something is.

well back on topic, apparantly Claude 5.5 Opus can animate and rig enemy models? i might have to buy in. here's my game currently. (i already fixed the trees)

>>110050169
man fuck windows insider. that's what got me onto this build. Windows says there'll be a upgrade path next year, guess i'm waiting for that.

Why the fuck would it matter of Claude has you ssid? Do you think Dario is going to come to your house and stand outside start torrenting on your wifi and use up your bandwidth?

The only think that I'd be wary of putting into it is wallet private keys and passwords to online services.
I don't give a fuck of t know my wifi or sudo password

You have a few options. You can run Claude in a container or VM and that's probably good enough. Otherwise you can just run Claude as a user who doesn't have permissions for your secret files? You could have Claude whip up a small proxy daemon to perform secrets actions on it's behalf. If you need something more secure then you probably need an HSM or a remote secrets manager, both of which are probably overkill.

Why does he feel the need to single out copyleft licenses when those and proprietary ones are just two sides of the same coin.
>>
>>110050163
this is why I have it running in a container with no write access to shared directories
