You can post images in youtube comments now.
>>110048117I shall post my penus. The whole world will see.
yt commentators are obsessed
>>110048117Time to start finding those rare goon/edging channels now.Been doing it on Instagram for two years now, best wanks ever.
whats the use case
>>110048117Kek can't wait to goatse some niggas, I wonder if YouTube gives away sitewide bans for this
>>110048117Sauce?
>>110048117which means that they have an AI ready to analyze every single image posted
Someone posted vixen content on YouTube, I repeat, someone posted vixen content on YouTube.
>>110048742What if they don't and turns out this is from AI-enabled code injection?
>>110048117
>>110048117i did it in ~2008 when someone found you could inject js in the comments
>>110048765They saw Spotify, Twitch and Soundcloud add them in chat/comments so they had to jump on the bandwagon.
>>110048765the enshitification arms race
>>110048117off-topic:https://youtu.be/Iy7u0ubaY8khow do I donwload this w/o an account?yt-dlg does not work btw
>>110048117>>110048820link?
>>110048117The YT comment section is where low educated people get voted to the top and nuanced technical comment discussion dies. Now image memes will contribute to that process even more.>>110048625You are awesome and I fully support what you plan to do. I also recommend Lemon Party and Tom Pearl. You'd probably get perma shadowbanned from commenting and any new accounts on the IP would follow. Though almost certainly the AI would detect all the big shock memes or any nudity.
>>110048117finally we can migrate from this hellholeyt is my new favorite imageboard
these niggas wanna be tiktok/IG so bad surprised they still let people post videos in widescreen
it is 2026you have lived long enough to see youtube become an imageboard
>>110049330I had a conversation with Jeff Gerling in the comments on one of his videos once. It really depends on which niche you're in.
>>110051030yeah niggas be greentexting in the comments like they aint normalGODS

YouTube comments are amazing and more entertaining than most replies on this board.
Nikocado asshole and dick and balls on standby
>>110052829you should go there
>>110048775spotify has chat/comments?
no one who works on youtube uses the site, theres no fucking way otherwiselike they had to have asked gemini for a suggestion or something
>>110056079Only under podcasts, IIRC.
>>110048820You're a true artist, anon
>>110048319it is not quite same as tv chat
>>110051789/g/ users can't mass upvote the most explosive reactionary comments like X and Youtube can
First messages are back now they added gifs? It's like they want kids to get groomed or something
>>110048625They immediately permabanned my 3-video 17-subscribers shitposting channel without any chance of repeal for calling it fagot9000 (after the anti-tank missile) for "violating their community values"
As someone in an obsessive circle of history and archeology autists where we do consulting for Youtube channels and leave giant multi-paragraph replies on videos with extra info and corrections, we are foaming at the mouth and drooling at the prospect of being able to attach gifs where each frame is a different artifact, artistic reconstruction, manuscript scan etc to accompany our commentsThe thing is, though, they only allow gifs from Tenor and Giphy, and the former has a ~48 hour waiting period for gifs to be approved, meaning we'd have to wait to comment till after the video is already out of the algorithm (or like, make 80+ gifs in advance of every possible combination of images we could want), and while Giphy doesn't say they have a similar waiting period, we uploaded a test gif to Giphy and it's not showing up when we search the tags we tagged the gif with within Youtube's gif menu>>110048765>>110048775>>110048799People are saying it's to chase tiktok or instagram or whatever moronic social media platform kids these days use, and are doomposting over the change, but I honestly think this will be extremely useful for high effort commenters, if there's an effective way to upload a gif and use it in a comment within a ~12 hour periodIf not, then yeah it's just gonna be used by people posting obnoxious reaction faces (remember when we used to do that on 4chan?)>>110049330Some of us put the work in to leave nuanced technical comments. In my experience such comments often do get upvoted, but it also probably helps that I have a friend group where we can lend each other a lot of quick initial upvotes. >>110059315Messages are back? How do you send them?
>>110056113you'd be surprised
>>110048117You can post links but almost always it gets automatically hidden. Will this be the same shit, let you think you posted it while actually the rest of the world can't see it?
