what does /g/ think about ArtCraft?
>>110050908Cool concept but it's still in alpha.
>>110050908buy an add
>>110050908It’s basedOnly luddite trans snailcats hate that stuff
>>110050908Unmaintable slop, but it's dunking on Adobe so it's fine.
>>110050908Should've actually finished one instead of starting another 11.
>>110050925say tranny or mathfag
fartcraft lmaoSeriously, this is unreadable, is there a light theme?
>>110050948Nah I’m gonna get banned
>>110050908Regardless I like how it's making adobe and maybe MS too seethe hard, I won't be surprised to see some of these products released on linux later haha
>>110050908has anyone actually used these fucking things
I'm looking forward to playing the new world of artcraft game for sure.
>>110050908It threatens extremely greedy corpos like (((Adobe))) so it's good. Really the one really good thing to come out of AI is the destruction of proprietary software moguls by reverse engineering and making all software open source.
>>110050908I don't care desu. Might give it a try if it survives the next 5 years and won't shit itself.
>>110050938Why? It's on github, fork it to your own desired outcome imo
>>110050908I could not care less about any of these software as I have no use for any of them as a swe
soundcraft is needed more than anything elsenever tried these
>>110050908slop gets sloppedi can't complain
>>110050960WinCraftWidowing operating systemLike Microsoft Windows 11
>>110050908the pdf application is good. the photoshop clone is also good (wish it had proper gif support tho). looks promising and runs great on linux.
>>110051155Interesting. I like the idea of having the same stupid wf cloned. We need wf innovation, and they aren't going to do it, either.I have a better audio chopper than I have seen elsewhere. I need to rework it now that Grok 4.7 is out, or idk, maybe sic Fable on it, though idk if I have enough usage to use it, so eh.
>>110050908why would I use the inferior version of a shit product for free when I can just pirate the shit version for free?
>>110050908last time i tried it worked like garbage. is it good now?
>>110050908kys in artcraft
>>110051046>Why?Why would someone prefer having 1 working piece of software over 12 unfinished pieces of software? Yeah, it's a mystery.
>>110050959they all work great, the only downside is no AMD support yet on FilmCraft for H265/AV1 encodingbut everything opens immediately and is light weight
>>110051460because you'll install a rootkit from one of the infinite shady sites/torrents and get rekt
>>110051504>they all work greatthen why is everyone else saying that they don't
>>110051528who is this everyone, are they in the room with us right now?
>>110051527So imagine the /ptg/ retards who keeps doanloading csam, their fates are much worse than that.
>>110051535everyone on orange site where they shill claude 24/7, if they're all complaining about it then it must be bad
>>110051528>then why is everyone else saying that they don'tit's because some people try doing real work with them, not just open app and soiface about ai for 5 minutes.
>>110051527amtlib is open sores.
Its all webshit
>>110050908I think the creator should hire good lawyers in case Adobe tries to take action against them.
>>110050908I don't think about it. There's enough alternatives for these already. I also have a bunch of adobe software I pirated like 10 years ago already installed that works fine. I'm not shitting on it, I'm just saying they ain't no damn point to da shiiiiiet.
>>110051676i think they do back box engineering. they don't even know what the ai is doing. the would have to take action against the ai who wrote it.
I use photocraft for the photomerge
>>110050908incredibly based.sadly adobe will buy and delete/cripple them eventually.
>>110051682won't they just gimp AI soon so it can't do this?
Affinity just werks, but it requires authentication and doesn't work on Linux.
>>110050908Like any other vibe slopped project it looks great until you start using it.
>>110051898using it just fine? wdym?
>>110051908>hello artcraft i would like to create a project with this custom resolution>fine, heres the new project with the default resolution that you didnt choose
>>110051925works on my machine :^)
>>110050908intriguing at least. I haven't used it, I just have decades old versions of illustrator, photoshop, and premiere, and I would fucking NEVER pay like the 100 dollars a month to adobe to maintain access to those for the little use I get out of them. But I'm sure I only use like 5% of their core functionality so basic clones would be nice for me.Honestly though I'd be more likely to just vibecode my own one that fit exactly what I use it for and no more.
>>110051460It runs better and has a smaller install.
>>110050908I prefer photopea. It runs in the browser and I don't have to install anything.I would even pay for it but they do the "add 10% if you use paypal" which is in bad taste so they won't get any money from me.
>>110050908dude is a retard, he is working on office now.there is like 3 those already just use onlyoffice, he should kill autodesk, but i guess that is to hard for vibecoders.
>>110052000AI can't into math, despite being math. That's why can't into Autodesk or mathlab.
>>110052010when escargot speaks we LISTEN! *STOMP*
>>110052000https://github.com/storytold/cadcraftApologize.But I agree about redoing Office, it is a waste of tokens.
>1 week agoUS bans Adobe from H1B visa applications and PERM>Nowsuspicious AI generated Adobe clones flooding the internet, Adobe will surely need 100,000 more H1B hires to fix this mess...HMMMM...
>>110052031>Apologize.nigga no one has used the software in this thread except a selected few. everyone is just talking out of their ass and you expect them to apologize? nobody has even mentioned real bugs and issues with it or even limitations.
This is what I envisioned when they said that CEOs would replace their employees with AIIf they think that they can just command bots, the next logical step is consumers using bots in the first place, your whole company is getting replaced Goldberg
only used the photoshop and excel one its alright. but the excel ones interface responsiveness feels a bit off. but im more than happy to replace onlyoffice with it
>>110052031>cadcraft>all the demonstrations are floorplans>doesnt include smart objects for walls / doors etc aka autoCAD architecture or BIMthey're really jumping the gun here with this one
>implying the reverse engineered versions won't rapidly improve just like everything elseshort sighted copium, come on now you even have precedents this timeadobe is FUCKED
I womder why they went with Audacity (I think) for the SoundCraft one. Audition is the shit (no thanks to Adobe; they bought an app called CoolEdit and have made very few changes to it outside of the UI over the years).
>>110050908No one's using it despite all the begging for bug testing
>>110050908Wishing them luck! Not really usable right now, but I want to see where they get in 1 or 2 years.
Fusion 360 clone when? Also I would pay $1000 for a perfect, 100% compatible, 100% same keyboard shortcuts and muscle memory, Excel clone
I've got VectorCraft, it's pretty cool for what I need to do that is digital art
>>110050908Useless slop
>>110050908amazing.
>>110050908Stop spamming this dalitware
>>110055199>cursor write a local user patch for olauncher
>>110050908holy shit the shills ITT are out of controlI've played around with the Photoshop and Premiere clones, ran into a few hiccups but both seemed like fairly competent clonesFor alpha products they're exceptional. I expect them to rapidly improve.
>>110051535Here are some examples:https://x.com/TheGingerBill/status/2109679856405332307>>110051504>but everything opens immediately and is light weightOh, it opens, great. Cancelling my adobe subscription as we speak.
>>110051046If I was going to do it I would do it myself, not wait for some retard to vibe basic barely working features to brag about it online. I wasn't going to before and I won't now. It unfinished garbage that can't even be called a proof of concept.
>>110050908How good is sound craft is it ableton good or audacity good?Ableton>Logic Pro>Fruityloops>Audacity

>>110058967maybe disable the option to output them as single files?
>>110058994Yeah would have been nice if that option existed guess I got to wait for Milestone 14

>>110055421Bill is just shilling software that's more restrictive than Adobe in how I can use it.https://x.com/TheGingerBill/status/2109679885811597413
>>110050908Needs a year or 2 of polish.
>>110050908Very interesting but clearly too barebones for any proficient use, clearly needs some time. It's fast and functional enough that I've replaced it over the existing """"FOSS Alternatives"""" but for serious work II still use WinApps
>>110055528>can't even be called a proof of conceptexplain why
>>110050955you dont get banned for that retardhave you actually used this photoslop, or just pretending? can we get a screenshot?

the potential is insane, but it lacks the proper polish at this time
>>110060420what can you expect from ai-fags who pay $20 a month to tech bros so they can outsource their brain to the cloud?
>>110055421oh, he's one of those guys who made a programming language right before programming became irrelevant
>>110060828jokes on me, i have 3 Claude 20x subscriptions and 3 codex subscriptions (one $200, and two "business" plans from work)I'm getting ~11k (after tax) a month going maximum appslopi dont think this gravy train will last, but it's here, now
>there is like 3 those already just use onlyoffice, he should kill autodesk, but i guess that is to hard for vibecoders. You stupid niggers don't seem to understand something. We don't care AT ALL about your shitty old app. I don't give a fuck if old Cecil has been maintaining it since the 1950s with one wrench. I don't give a fuck if it was on some original Linux distro and RMS wiped a booger on it. I don't give a fuck how hard you worked on it or where your soviet authority thinks we should put our labor.I thought it was interesting that FilmCraft was the app that got the owl as its logo. This guy is funded by disruptors inside the beast and at some point he will iterate past the event horizon.>>1 week ago>US bans Adobe from H1B visa applications and PERM>>Now>suspicious AI generated Adobe clones flooding the internet, Adobe will surely need 100,000 more H1B hires to fix this mess...Tell me more...
>>110051528I tried EffectCraft, it has all I need and use from After Effects currently. keyframes and transitions work, Keylight to remove greenscreen works, a lot of effects I use like blur, glow and lightsweep work, splitting and rearranging layers works, adjustment layers work, audio stuff works, export to MP4 works, Mask support is still WIP, but I've seen PRs in their github ready to improve that as well. I honestly think as it stands now, if they added the mask stuff, improved performance a bit (AE is still worse performance wise anyway) and some qol changes, I would not pay for AE anymore.
>>110050958Competition is good, the only way Adobe/MS can combat this is either making their suites open source, making Linux versions and fixing their subscription model
seems cool, unfinished and unusable yet tho, doubt it will work out in the end either due to lawsuits or due to sloppers hopping to something else after money drains up or slop code raises token cost for further modificationfinishing up these projects is usually where slop code fucks you over.i wish it would succeed tho cuz fuck adobe and ms.
>>110050908The screenshot make the GUI look wise pretty impressive I haven't used it because I don't trust it. I looked through the code and found it quite readable so yes I can see this being the future. However there doesnt seem to be any notion of how to organize something so its maintainable I personally would never touch it myself.
>>110050908Basically AI Slop mess
>>110050908Parity isn't there. None of those will see a 1.0 release. It's unmaintainable.
>>110051970>not even 60% parity>"it runs better!"You don't say.
>>110052061Just run a firewalled WPS instance, nigga (because you know, it's chinkshit).
>>110059813Like stealing candy from a (retarded) baby in a gimp suit. A bit unfair, anon.
>>110050908i tried photocraft and it was painfully fucking slow to perform even the most basic of tasks (curves, resizing)thanks but I'll keep using cracked photoshop
>>110050908Based sticking it to the manCringe because it hardly works lol
>>110050908Its "slop" even doe it reduced my install size from more than 5 GB with MS Office 2024 to less than 300MB with DeckCraft, WordCraft and GridCraft.I choose "slop" over botnet bloat any day of the week.
>>110063533> ~6% of install size>also ~6% of featuresMakes sense.
