You can play on browser here:https://agdg-lad.itch.io/card-walkerStack love2d + opencode + Muse Spark 1.3 Free ## Post-mortemI want to learn a workflow on how to create games using agentic AI. I remember having this idea on my mind since Balatro went out and we all went insane on /agdg/ to create card games, but never really tried because I was sure it wasn't good enough to even try. But now we can create shit prototypes like this "easily" so I decided to give a try.It took me 2 days to finish the game. I started with a basic core loop that I wrote some time ago. After this I started to fine tune the mechanics and once it played good enough I started to improve the visuals.29 messages later and this was the result https://arch-img.b4k.dev/vg/1791873906494.mp4The main game was done but I went to improve the visuals further. Trying to mimic the style of Playdate games. This was the final result after 99 messages: https://arch-img.b4k.dev/vg/1791928115719.mp4### Lessons learned- You can create games with the free models, if you do it the traditional way of iterating over your idea;- AI models take prompts too literally. If you say something in some abscract way, it will use that concept everywhere, in variable names, in comments, in-game text, etc;- Pseudocode works great, even simple ones;- Fine tunning is almost impossible, at least using a code-only framework. Next time I'll for sure ask it to create an editable resource and expose in-game variables to finetune them. This could be easily done using godot/unity via the editor;- I must find some "typed" way to create assets via text;- Every time I asked it to create something by itself it was horrible. If I wanted a particular layout I had to write pseudocode or send a picture.- All text written by the agent

>>110059288did not read your word slop, but I just trained my brain model on your image and filed it under "design and animation patterns that signify slop"
imagine this shit but x10 worse and on EVERY comm channelsthis is the future hindu sloppers want

>>110060040he called his own garbage slop you slavefaggot. where is your game, where is your imageboard?
>>110059288Nice. Im working on a turnbased chess-like game, because I love chess but the game is too boring sometimes. I want to make it similar to it but with more lengthy skirmishes and more moves to form attacks with larger board. So far I have a pretty nice core part built with claude and tweaked with my own coding. $0.00 spent
>>110059942nah his visuals are actually nice. The trick to using AI is to actually have a pre-defined plan on what you need to build and eventually the model will do what you want exactly.
>>110060118You lost, nobody needs you anymore
>>110060357SWEs don't deserve anything more than $100k anyway. AI is actually BASED. The profession does not rival real PEng or MD professions.
>>110060364Codetrans don’t deserve anything
>>110059288>- All text written by the agent...Fucking sucks
>>110060357if someone actually needed you you wouldn't be in bosnia and horseagofnia
>>110059996Based kike
>>110059288This looks like a "game" you could make in a couple hours by hand.
>literally every subhuman makes an AI 2D shit game in 2 hours and quickly publish it like a sperg on any social media they find, including 4chanwhy?
>>110061597Yea, I wrote a prototype by hand in some hours but wanted to give agentic gamedev a try.
