I almost exclusively use GNU software for everything nowadays.

I use gnu screen instead of tmux
I use plain old default bash instead of zoomer shell or, god forbid, fish.
I use the Gnu core utils instead of whatever others nowadays.
I edit all my files in Gnu Emacs instead of VIM.
I compile everything I code using GCC and GNU Make instead of clang and ninja.
I use gnu autotools instead of CMake and meson.
I write my notes using GNU texinfo.
I use GNU m4 as a preprocessor for generating my static website.
I use GNU wget instead of CURL.
I browse the web on GNU Icecat with LibreJS enabled.
I write all my documents in GNU Groff.
I draw all my graphs using GNU plotutils.
I debug my programs using GNU GDB.
I format my code using GNU indent.
I use GNU GPG for encrypting and signing everything from files to email to packages.
I use gnu stow to manage my dotfiles.
I write my scripts and small programs in Gnu Guile (Scheme).
I use GnuTLS over openssl
I use GNU libmicrohttpd for writing my networked apps.

GNU things I don't use but i am interested in using:
linux-libre
gnu guix
gnu octave

Things that I use that used to be GNU in the past but aren't GNU anymore:
Gnome

do you like /G/NU /g/? post your favorite GNUs

I am eternally grateful to GNU and rms so I promote free as in freedom language and recommend GNU when I think it will suit the needs of whomever I'm helping. Personally I use a lot of GNU programming tools like the compiler, debugger, and emacs of course.

I love GNU. Their documentation is always very well done.

Why do you use gnu screen instead of using emacs alternatives for your terminal applications?

I use gnu screen for session management on remote servers. i don't use it locally as much.
I don't tend to use a lot of Emacs based utilities. I prefer the CLI. but I like mu4e and newsboat and I will probably start using magit too. I mostly use Emacs as a text editor.

sorry, i meant newsticker. newsboat is another terminal tool.

I prefer GNU and GPL to other licenses when possible, though it's not a hard-and-fast rule. I also like GNU Screen (over tmux) and I use GNU Source-highlight (instead of pygmentize) for syntax highlighting outside editors.

Emacs takes a lifetime to learn. So the sooner you start, the longer it will take.

done.
everything else is optional. you don't have to be an elisp wizard to use emacs.
