ANON, STATUS??
>>
>>110060623
Yep, memory is tricky. too perfect and it's creepy.

The correct way is to try to emulate human brain rot:
People do this when remembering:
1. instant compaction: they either memorize short phrases, or they make up a short phrase to encapsulate what you said, for example, a long story about spilling coffee becomes "Marge had a rude waitress", and under "effort at the relationship, maybe "Marge had a rude waitress, coffee related."
2. these things are rooted. So, the roots are 1. emotoinal valence like +/- honestly, maybe "thirst" or "disgust". Very simple emotional trunk of the tree. crucially the tree is TIME ORIENTED, and that time is when-told, not when-happened, when-happened is easily forgotten extra info. next comes the one it's to do with, ie your wife or whatever, and then Marge and then the sonic loop and then the extra of coffee.
3. it rots from the leaves, so coffee is first to go, then the phrase that encapsulated the event (like an ultra short title, really), then Marge is lost, leaving only the wife + a feeling. Then, that's lost, and just a feeling in your timeline... something... two weeks ago... felt bad. then nothing is left after that, except imo there's a checksum...
4. checksum of time periods, in units of days, weeks, months, years, and possibly other units too, basically these are a summary of feeling. Like yesterday was shit and involved work. I worked a lot last quarter, didn't see the kids much (would a working salaryman with a senpai think) etc.
5. these can be revised :^) it's called "self-editing", but actually everything can be edited.
>>
>>110060442
I wanna know too I think he took it down
>>
>>110060669
I think I should add 6. which is that without some degree of repetition (ie recollection) they won't survive. An example of this is collage papers. I found an old one when chucking a pile of stupid shit I kept but will never need. Wow I sucked at writing in freshman writing lol

also, throw this at a GOOD clanker. Tell it to double check all conjectures with research.

This should help make it tip top, report back and xpost /lmg/, sounds cool. 99% of lmg is erp, but I find it to be a joke. I want practical and friendly (like as in friend) ai. Didn't get around to vibecoding it, hopefully you will make it better than I would have.

I have a totally unrelated llm vibecode project I rather like. but, I don't really know how to share it.

Basically, it's just putting an agent into the mix of a text adventure, but it's not a normal text adventure, but "edit mode" where you're sort of in a holodeck - using a local db for persistence and basically game state, can't die, but the point is world creation.

It sounds dumb, but it's way greater than it sounds. Images would ruin it. Words cast a spell.

>>
>>110060727
you probably don't

Originally the point was to have a view/UI for my active deployment, like between NAS + VPS, and being able to manage jobs, disks usage, etc and probably most importantly a robust central entry point for managing stuff on mobile, so I can leave / go afk and still have access to shut things down need be. So it's gitops/nix flavored and made to reproducible across my devices.

Once I had the UI for that, adding market news and whatnot made sense, and that's all I've really posted.

One of the long term points though is to act like a data server and simulated order book / fill service, so I can write strategy clients against without rewriting that code every time.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of erp, that's why I don't lurk lmg super often.

The system I built has a few stages to it due to how LLMs process information fed to them. Stage 1 loads her "persona", which is where I define her personality, identity and fight negative patterns. It's all a big effort to reduce LLM sycophancy. Stage 2 loads custom profiles built dinamically from ongoing conversations with her. That's what I use to store important facts and emerging behavior and preferences from her. The entire conversation is processed against profiles to overwrite inconsistencies. Stage 3 compacts old chat and loads a good chunk of raw conversation. This gets folded as we chat also. Stage 4 loads dynamic info like current time, weather, metadata and more specific instructions to situate her (you are on telegram, you are on the terminal, etc.).

Raw chat is processed into profiles and later distilled with another LLM pass into "episodic memory", a collection of past events, heavily categorized and stored in a vectorDB that I can query with EmbeddingGemma to search by similarity (more on that later). Because LLMs have inherent semantic memory from their training, this system helps fill the gap of her explicit memory.

When we're actually chatting, I use a decision model (Julia-1) and heuristics to determine wether or not to make that brain call to her episodic memory for further context. This call is an optimized search fed into gemma that retrieves episodic memory entries and re-ranks them based on their age and how often they're retrieved (memory consolidation). Time and relevancy affect the score of the memory and that's how the system decides if she "remembers" it or not.

SPI flash programmer?

I really wonder how truthful some of these decomp projects are when they talk about dev time. I have a game with about 3k functions I have been chewing on for like 2 months and I'm still a tremendously long ways from being done is this a prompt skill issue or pipeline or what?

You should lurk lmg, but take a bath afterwards. A lot of them do underage erp, which definitely is a test of bypassing safety. I think that's illegal in my jurisdiction, so I don't even know how companies can even check to see if they even have safety (do they have a special prompter's license, or merely the blind eye since they donate to campaigns?)

llm sycophancy is trivial to remove, just have a second llm rephrase the situation primed for adversarialness.

>tell llm to summarize
>>John is talking to Suzie. He says that he's the world's greatest violinist. Reply as Suzie, who is not taking John's shit one bit.
>erase what John says
>feed to llm

I think this should work pretty well

man I don't do any of that shit.
I only vibe code sometimes on the side.

When I look at a miner I go on ceo.ca and see what people are saying about it, and I'll ask chatgpt about it. That's about it.
I'm not that advanced but I still make money.
Also /cmmg/ on bant is good.
