Vibecoded into existence luddites your response ?
>>
how is that bad news for CAD user everyone wants to move away from Fusion360 and co. but there is no alternative.
>>
My response is that the anger I feel when I visit this website isn't worth it, but I can't stop doing it because sometimes there are good posts
>>
>>110061794
go to r/math they have banned the mention of ai there to not have mass mental breakdowns

sounds like they just don't want to deal with larping retards.

it is pure cope if all subs worked like this way the guy who found a planet using Claude code would not have gotten any attention and nasa would just have ignored it
>>
>>110061753
i don't mind AI heck I encourage it just so long as it is probably read and validated yk

It’s too bad you be the Director of Emerging Technology at a federal government agency like me.

I have basically been on 4chan since my final year of Uni in 2008 and this site has kept me on the bleeding edge. I learned about Tor, Crypto, FIRE (/biz/)and so much more. I’ve leveraged everything into a successful career with an enormous retirement portfolio. Ive got land and guns and women. I cant even imagine how desperate so many of you midwits and literal morons must be right now.

God it feels good to be a millennial right now!

Youd think the self proclaimed smartest people in the world would realise that burying their head in the sand like an emu doesnt actually make the threat go away
>>
>>110062126
it gets even worse now they try to disprove lean they are down on a copemaxxing path
>>
>>110061753
My take: the release is interesting because CAD geometry is foundational infrastructure. If developers can build reliable CAD tools around an openly available kernel, that could make it easier to combine precise engineering geometry with procedural design, AI-generated models, robotics, and simulation.

But it is still important to distinguish an open-source kernel from a complete, production-ready replacement for the geometry engines used by established CAD systems. The latter requires much more than publishing the core library.

No, retard. It's to prevent low quality retards from shitting the place up with their LLM textwalls and supposed discoveries. The basedreddit lets them talk about AI as much as they want in the megathread
>>
>>110062189
>t. didn't know what lean was until 2 weeks ago
>>
>>110062189
that's not what they are doing howeverbleitdoe. They are talking about how the natural language proof in the navier stokes paper does not match the lean formalization (which is true, and this being says nothing against the validity of the lean formalization, which everyone agrees is probably correct. Only against the unrelated natural language argument the AI made alongside it) and they are poking holes on some of the 700 papers openAI published, most of which do not have lean formalizations.
Why are you so incapable of being honest about what the people you dislike are up to? Don't you feel shame?
>>
>>110062311
>that's not what they are doing
sure buddy

>We would like to possess a formal proof that the Lean 4 kernel has no bugs. However, Gödel’s second incompleteness theorem places severe limitations on this undertaking.

This may actually kill people for real.
Is this the AI apocalypse chat companies been talking about?

OpenSCAD and potrace have existed forever.
>>
>>110061753
Sar I dont understand, can I redeem this and vibecode 3d modeling as good as opus 5.5?
>>
What is so impressive about cad software? I've never used one. I want to know what makes them impressive.
They look pretty simple.
>>
>>110062465
openscad ironically is not cad internally , is mesh based
>>
>>110062615
on the programming side? look for topological naming problem for example. which is not completely resoluble
>>
>>110061790
freecad has improved an order of magnitude. like serioursly useble right now on the 1.1 and the new 26.3 that is in release candidate seems to have been way better, didnt try it yet
