I repasted this Dell work laptop of mine and discovered whatever vibe coded fan curve they are using seems to trigger for no reason at 42c - it requests 78% fan speed for 1 second then goes off. It will pulse on and off repeatedly if the temp hovers between 41c or 43c and goes to 42cHowever... any higher than 42c and the fan won't come on until it hits 55c which seems to be the "bottom" of the fan curve coming on and actually staying on until it cools.I guess nobody expected anyone to replace the dogshit paste they were using that made it hit 100c loading a single website and idle around 65-70cHow does this kind of shit make it through testingI now need to try and raise my idle temps to compensate for this nonsense... thermal pad on the heatsink?
it’s to bait retards like you to open it and replace the paste which nullifies the warranty
