>>110067769You don't have to play malware roulette with any cracks/keygens for ArtCraft since it's free out of the box.
>>110067769It's open source, isn't it? I don't think much people really give a shit about that fact though; most are more concerned with the fact that it was produced by AI, and the fact that Adobe got BTFO. If it's produced entirely independently from Adobe products' source code (i.e. used GIMP as a base), then I don't think that Adobe has any legal recourse.
>>110067769i tried it, it's shit. most of the feature is broken. It only looks similar but that's about it. Even Gimp is more usable. Maybe it will be better in a few years.
>>110067853IIRC they used clean-room reverse engineering of Adobe's products. However, Adobe's Terms of Use specifically has a clause against reverse engineering and also using their software to train or "improve" machine learning or AI systems.https://www.adobe.com/legal/terms.html#no-modifications-reverse-engineering-artificial-intelligencemachine-learning-aimlThey also summarize:>"We invest in our technology and services and don’t allow you to recreate or attempt to recreate our products."It seems to exist in an unprecedented legal grey area. We'll have to see what the future holds for vibe-coded software like ArtCraft.
>>110067853>Adobe got BTFOTry using ArtCraft like you would Photoshop and report back.
>>110067769>icon positions don't matchFUCK YOUUUUUUUUU
>>110068056I shan't; I'm just relaying public's impression of it, I have no interest in ShartCraft aside from how Adobe might react to it, and the legal precedence it will set for AI reverse-engineered bootlegs.
>>110067769Do these run natively on Linux?
>>110068083Yeah.
>>110068015>AIslop>better in a few years it'll only get worse
can i run photoshop natively in linux yet? with all its functions working? I'm not going to use something else even if it works 10000% as adobes AI tools are the best. Before? I would have switched to artcraft. If I was working a business I would have stuck with PS though. As long as PS continues improving their AI tools and simplifying shit that used to be tedious with some local AI and cloud AI then they will continue to be useful.
>>110068167>can i run photoshop natively in linux yet?You can do it without a VM, yeah. >with all its functions working?Don't think so. I used to have error messages very, very rarely on my Loonix machine.
>>110067769Adobe software has been dropping the perfomance ball so hard people is really considering if there's something better out there. Also the ass backwards billing policy helps (having a cancel fee for fucking SaaS is peak israeli bootlicking muttism what fucking damages are you going to suffer from masking a register in a database).
>>110068181why would someone even use ps on loonix, like if you are pro and need ps then maybe use windows altogether, else, for light work you can use the web based version of ps alternatives that does the job even in templeos
>>110068337i just don't understand, like why not people pirate their apps despite their shitty subscription policies, like people are retards because adobe is literally squeezing money out of their pockets and yet they just continue to pay and whine about it, like just fucking to to r/piracy and and just download the fucking cracked app from a reputable website!!!!!!!!
>>110068358I didn't need it for work. I'm an amateur, and while I wouldn't call PS intuitive, it was better than Photopea. If I did need it for work I would obviously have a dedicated Windows machine.
>>110067827skill issuenormgroids don't deserve free software
>>110067827It's not just that, they're never reliable. They always seem to work for a while then randomly disable themselves despite blocking in firewall etc. Also they often just crash when cracked. That monkryus (however you spell that retards name) adobe reader was doing that for me.
>>110068396finally a guy who knows ball
>>110067769I was going to use it but they haven't cloned animate yet so I gave up
