My pre built 5080 PC just arrived from Newegg. It cost $3,200 and refuses to display anything. Thanks Newegg!Seriously though, how did they mess up when "it's as easy as Legos"

>>110068970this lol, happened to me like 10 years ago, the subhuman postman handled it like a bull in a china shop most likely
>>110068970I disagree. It has plenty of packaging protecting it. I bet someone at the factory fucked up.
>>110068965now your monitor is out-of-date. spend another $3000 on a new one.

The Newegg seller is ReUse Computers. I would avoid them.
>>110069282it seems you forgot to include a photo of the inside of the computer. it happens sometimes, don't worry about it. just try again.
>>110069282Show us your balls already. Then play a little tune on da piano.
why are you buying a prebuilt that is most likely going to break during shipping when you can just build it yourself for the same price
>>110069335I don't think it broke during shipping, I think someone at the factory didn't know what they were doing. I don't know what I'm doing either, but that's why I'm paying more for a pre built. I'm paying them not to make mistakes.
>>110069366>I don't think it broke during shipping, I think someone at the factory didn't know what they were doing.how the hell would you know
>>110069372I've worked in warehouses and as a delivery driver. We're careful with the packages we handle. The bad deliveries you see from ring cams are a scarce rarity.I think it's actually much more complicated to build a PC than people understand. The "it's Legos" meme is designed to sell hardware - regardless of whether it ever runs. I think someone at the factory made a mistake doing a complicated task. But if I'm paying this much, there shouldn't be any mistakes.
>>110069436obviously they're going to turn the pc on after assembling it to verify it worksit got messed up during shipping or op didn't plug the gpu in.
>>110069453What do you mean I didn't plug the GPU in? I've bought pre built PCs before and never had to plug anything in. It came with an extra wire (like always), but those wires are only for modding and expanding. Do you mean the display? That was plugged into the gpu. Really it doesn't matter because your motherboard ports should be capable of displaying too, so long as you setup everything right.
FUCK
>>110069507This is why you were requested for photos immediately after creating the thread
At least I was right about it not being the delivery. I'll post in here some pics of it running after I finish my smoke.
>>110069554Sorry I thought /g/ just wanted to look at a nice computer, didn't think it would help. For the record, they should definitely ship it read to go. This is kinda bs.
I BOUGHT a pre built computerTHEY FORGOT to plug it together
genuine retard...
>>110069616Seriously why should I have to be the one to plug things together when I paid for a pre built
>>110069611just plug it in then lol, don't you know the motherboard manual is online now? It's just some positive on positive; negative on negative
>>110069690Oh god you mean there's different plugs on each end? It's already in it's box and the return has free shipping. I'm just gonna return it...
>>110069436"it's legos" is false because you can assemble legos however you want, pc components only go in one way. it's easier than lego
>>110068965They shouldn't have the GPU even inserted when shipping as theyre so heavy
>>110069726lol fair, you shouldn't count on a costumer to do it themselves if it's somewhat requiring some electrical literacy
I foolishly got it out of the box again to plug in the wire Gemini promised would fix my GPU. Nope, every port is wires already plugged into it. I can see the extra power ribbons running from the PSU to the GPU. It's just busted. I also tried waiting 10 minutes in case the DDR5 needed to turn on, but that didn't help. Back in the box. I wonder how much prices will go up between when I ordered this and when I'll be refunded.
>>110069993nigga if you wanted help you'd post photosis this some kind of elaborate bait thread?
>>110069736You can make them go many ways if you have the strength anon.
Motherboard has two red lights in the bottom right corner. Gemini says that means CPU error.
>>110070033make sure all cables are seated fullyyou're probably fine, but I always check shit
>>110070049turn it off and do this, and make sure the gpu and memory sticks are seated too.have you tried plugging your cable into a different port on the gpu
