With Minimax H3, is there a standard practice for running loras in Ref2VA?
I keep reading that the Ref2V model doesn't handle loras well at all, and that they should only be used with the FL2VA model, even using the FL2VA model in the Ref2V workflow if needed (which breaks the sound).
I've also read there are custom checkpoints like "10Eros" that optimize Ref2V for loras. Has anyone here confirmed this? There are like 50 different versions of this checkpoint and I don't feel like downloading all of them to see which one works.

So is this like the 2nd coming of SD3? How did BFL manage to do that? This whole release is useless, they didn't even give a new VAE here.

Not strictly. It's still significantly less slopped than Kroma on many prompts, but Kroma is better at prompt following and works flawless for NSFW. I expect Kroma to eventually be better in later iterations.

That said, I have improved the original Chroma-Krea workflow. I think it works much better at 1408x1408 with prompt following, so initial generation is now much faster (about same speed as Krea 2, whole thing takes about a min on 3090

I haven't gotten anything remotely this bad, but yeah, overall Klein 3 looks like a 'meh' model from a year ago, and all that BFL 'make it look like a shitty stock photo advert' seephing through every image. I mean it makes sense I guess since that's likely the way they make any money, selling their API model services to budget limited ad agencies, but it also makes it totally uninteresting for local.

BFL seem truly dead at this point, they lag behind in technology overall and their local offerings are DOA. Krea 3 and the Minimax image model will rule image gen, and for video LTX might surpass H3 if given enough time, unless there's a H4.

Faces and expression looks non-slopped. In terms of bad backgrounds, it's just my denoise amount. Since Kroma can do more, it carries some more inconsistencies from OG Chroma. In this wf, it might help to just let Kroma do most of heavy lifting (around 0.7 denoise) to fix nonsense background
