>>110073971A network switch won't help here. You want a KVM-style setup, and there are three ways to get it:1. **True KVM switch:** closest to one button, but few models hold 240Hz across multiple monitors, and they're pricey (Level1Techs is the usual recommendation). macOS also doesn't support MST, so you need one cable per monitor.2. **Thunderbolt dock + USB switch (best value):** Mac connects to the monitors through a dock, the PC connects directly via DisplayPort, and a USB switch flips your keyboard and mouse. A hotkey can switch monitor inputs using Lunar or MonitorControl on the Mac, and ControlMyMonitor or Twinkle Tray on Windows. This gets very close to one button.3. **Monitors with a built-in KVM:** some Dell, Gigabyte and MSI models have one, so check your current monitors, and consider one for the third. Before buying, check that your M5 chip can drive three displays (base chips usually can't), and that each monitor has two inputs. If you share your monitor models, resolution and M5 chip, I can suggest specific products.

is it remotely smart to try to order an rtx 5090 at this point? I am certain I'll get scammed even by big retailers at these prices. I have to buy in person and walk out of the store carrying an ar and body armour to secure one of these things now, right?

It's 2026. Why do people still recommend the AMD GPUs? Nobody buys them, even when they're 50% the price of the nVidia equivalent. The only time we see someone praise AMD is when they're at 40% or less the price of nVidia.
>>110075840Relax, you don't get paid if you convince people to purchase nvidia GPUs.
I hate to admit it but yes I actually am looking forward to GTA 6. It activates my monkey brain a lot. I literally get horny every time I look at Lucia. They did a damn good job modeling her. I love latina whores. But genuinely the game looks great. I think people are hyped because most people realize that most games are underwhelming, mediocre, just okay/fine, or utter dogshit. You really don't get those magnum opus games much anymore.I think GTA 6 will be a great game. We are back. Of course, I'll be waiting until I build a proper PC and put Linux on it in 5 years to play it.

>>110079508???That's the answer, xbox games, xbox. It's pretty easy, we're not a bunch of broke children here.
>>110079295you are falling for memes dude
>>110078931I think the available desk choices depend on where you are. For example I had a 200x80cm desk from Desktronic I got from Amazon but idk if this is available in other regions. Not sure if I could recommend it though as it sagged given the length
Nobody said anything, I'm amazed that Walmart has 3 rtx 5080's.
>>110077806>>110077910What others do you recommend to look at? 1 noctua costs around the same as 3 thermalright ones. I think I'd rather go for thermal in that case I have 2 backups if one starts acting up again
>>110079718>What others do you recommend to look at?If you're a man, your wife. That's it.
HURRY EVERYONE! GO TO WALMART AND BUY AN RTX 5080!!!
I wish I was black
>>110078285Yeah I needed that due to my screen being dark when activating hdr. Seems to be a problem with my specific monitor >>110078157It's 109, since I'm using a 27" for 1440p. But before that I had a 27" 1080p, so I think 80 dpi? That's a big jump too, I should be able to see some difference >>110078420>>110078961Did that, perhaps I need new glasses.
>>110080493Are they GunnrRR gamer glasses, or some kind of glasses for newspapers and crosswords?
>>110080516I don't even know what that means. Just regular glasses for people with bad eyes my dude
Just copped a 5600X3D boyos and sold the 5600X, that’ll help me wait out AM6. Hopefully whatever comes after the 90xx series will be good enough to upgrade my 7800xt and 6800.
>>110080562oh, that's why. You gotta get gamer glasses.
>>110078084The jump from 1440p to 4k is bigger you are just blind. Use the monitor for a couple days and then go back to your 1080p and then tell me you don’t see the difference.
>>110080668Whats the point if you cant actually see the difference now? Fucking idiot
>>110080815But you can, you’re just in the coping phase right now because you were comfortable with your old monitor and screen size and you are adjusting to the new one. This happens to everyone like i said try use your old 1080p after a few days and tell me you don’t notice the lack of sharpness and clarity.
>>110080815>Whats the pointIt influences text size. text size still is mostly tied to resolutoin.
>>110080820are you the anon that recommends everyone TVs? If you sit at a certain distance the difference between 1080p and 1440p becomes much less noticeable
>>110080668That other post wasn't me. I have both monitors side by side. I only really see a difference if I reduce text size a lot and the 1440p still shows it rather readable, while the 1080p doesn't. But for normal browsing, videos, games, etc. I really don't see a difference. Wtf am I retarded, everyone else seems to notice a big difference
