>>110075455Memory bandwidth? I'm not interested in running stuff at 2tok/s
>>110075455How good is the Blender performance?
>>110075455does it have like 128gb unified memory and this whole thing costing less than 1000€?otherwise its doa
>>110075455I have no interest and the spark offerings are overpriced and boring many with extremely limited storage and memory.
>>110075982the machines are mostly 24 or 32 GB unified memeory most are 1TB SSD but some are only 512GB. They are all targetted at surface mac book air type cunts and are 3000+-4000+ dollars (I am converting from UK prices) The idea of spending 3000 dollars on anything with a 512GB druve and 24GB of memory has no appeal whatsoever and neither does spending 4000 on something with 32 and a 1TB drive. Nvidia can fuck off.
>>110075859>youryeah you're poor

>>110076192It's npot that it's just depressing watching them try and sell laptops with shit like 512GB harddrives on machines that is they get used at all will be for local LLMs with 10-20GB model file sizes. As an example my stability matrix folder with comfy UI has not much in it and is 1009GB and my models dirctory for localLM is 254 GB. Whats the fucking point in selling thesen things wioth 512GB and 1TB drives which is most of them. That to one side 24GB of memory is pretty shit for three grand as well. There is a surface in this building I got for free I don;lt think I have turned it on more than and handful of times and I hate soldered together machines. I just don;t want anything that has the spart in them and I suspect a lot of these will be sold and used for little more than outlook and excel simply as corporate status badges.
>>110076255>tability matrix folder with comfy UI has not much in it and is 1009GB and my models dirctory for localLM is 254 GB.sry that should be 109GB and 254 GB
>>110076153No one is buying the Qualcomm laptops, no one will buy the Nvidia laptops either. But those companies are making infinite money with datacenters, they dont really care, only maybe the internal team responsible for it. It is pretty much microsoft vs xbox, it is negligible at the enterprise scale.
>>110076295The XPS is a machine that I would give as a gift to a small business owner turning over 20 or so mil who is tech illitrate and wants something that ;looks like his kids mac air so her can feel stylish as he tries to write an email by pecking the keyboard. Same shit as with the sorface and crapple uses. The people who want these kinds of ultra light machines are the people who struggle to use excel unless their financial controller is standing beside them telling them what to do.
>soldered-on memorylole lmaoe

>>110075455>sells laptop with binned A18 Pro chips>wins
>>110075455>$7,000They sure did!
>>110075455They are using Qwen 3.8 27B in testing it's funny because you can do the same ona 16GB VRAM card is you use a Qwen3.8 27B GSQ RCO from ISTA-DASLab and it will probably be faster and better. There are abliterated versions of these as well.
>>110075621They don't make products for cattle, goy.
>>110076542They literally do thoughbeit.
Oh lawd I can't wait to rent one for one hour.
>>110076812Now they don't. Simple as.
>>110076960>>110076812Btfo. They don't make consumer electronics. They make saas services for (((enterprise))) solutions now.
