Just want to share an interesting fact. I do have a degree, experience and also got fired back in the past, this is not my first time with unemplyoment. My hairline was fucked up since 20 so i had to keep my hair shaved to avoid some combover hairstyle. Also up until recently i was pretty lazy with appearance and would let my beard grow for 20+ days sometimes before shaving. My beard is full and grow fast, but im still young and dont think that look is flattering to me. I kinda got that old and young loook at same time. Now i had a hair implant, loving the result, look much better also ive been paying attetion to grooming and now i keep my beard shaved or at least buzz every 4 days to keep it short. Thats all fine and cool although this improvement in looks never helped get a job, iove been struggling as much as in teh past. HR whores dont treat me 0.01% better than in the past. I dont see any better treatment from cashiers and people in general. Lookism is a total meme. Well, if you balding i do recommend getting the implant, just do it for yourself because people dont really care.

Anybody with ADHD find a reliable way to study sys design for interviews? When I try to my brain just refuses to engage and internalize the ideas and concepts. I know if I were actively working with them in a job I'd get it done. But for whatever reason trying to do it on my own just doesn't work.
Alright so I already moved and signed the lease and everything and I was supposed to start the 19th or 26th but they're apparently having trouble sending me an email to setup getting my fingerprint for my background check and right now I'm just waiting for them to try an alternate email. That's normal right and everything will get sorted out soon right? What are the chances I've got stalkers who called them and misrepresented me or something? No one would actually do that right?
I just bombed 3 recruiter screens in a row this week. The last one lasted 5 minutes and I could tell he wanted to just get it over with and hang up as fast as he could. Social ineptitude and anxiety makes it literally impossible to not fail an interview unless the person interviewing me is just as socially inept as I am. I've come to the realization that I'm never going to work in software engineering again after I lose my current job (which will probably be soon because of AI) and I will most likely have to kill myself at that point because I'm nearly middle age and have no other marketable skills. If I had only been born 10 years earlier before well-adjusted normies had infiltrated this industry I probably would have had a massively successful career in tech instead of being a complete loser on the brink of suicide in my late 30s.
>>110126344just pop half of a bar of Xan for interview anon, im serious

>>110126649>the more you doomerise the less you'll careThat's not how it works. Every time I fail one of these interviews it just chips away even more at my self confidence. I was unironically more confident in my 20s, which is probably why I had a much easier time getting a job back then. Anyway I barely even get interviews anymore, it just so happened that I lucked out and got 3 in the span of a week, but it will probably be another month before I even get another one going by my average ratio of 1 interview per 50 applications.
