>>110094010Finest IIT graduate
>>110093963Not him, but couldn't you upload documentation from previous exploits or methods used on other consoles and use that as a starting point to experiment with similar techniques? I'm sure there's enough information out there to at least get the ball rolling. I know I'm being extremely vague, but I've literally sent claude pictures from my phone before and been able to interrogate it about what's going on and get some surprisingly useful insights.Just saying maybe it's not as difficult as people think. Maybe the information we need is already out there, and we're just not connecting the dots yet, literally taking close up shots of the board even. That leads me to my bigger point, I think it's inevitable that AI is eventually going to get so good at this that someone somewhere will find a way to exploit a system that others thought was secure. Unless you're constantly testing your systems against the latest models and their capabilities, I think it's only a matter of time before somebody discovers a vulnerability for just about everything.

Question for those who use Claude, does spending more time on one software for example lead to better results or just more slop? For example, do you just start with small prompts first and then build from there, or make a more elaborate prompt with openai for example and use that and then dial it back? Wouldn't that create more slop?

But I usually give claude a big wall of text on what I want, go back and fourth with it to flesh out a plan, let it execute the plan with maybe a bit of feedback as it goes through the stages of the plan, and finally while playtesting I have a built in system in the game to save notes or bug report saves that I get claude to look at when I have enough of them saved up. Then repeat on the playtsting phase. When adding new ideas on top of it I mostly go through the same above process, sometimes trust it to just implement the whole idea of one prompt if its simple enough. The playtesting/bughunting part feels like it helps deslop it? Does anyone else think anons with actual work history, training, certifications, and transcripts from before the AI boom are going to have a better shot at getting hired than people who are just jumping into the game now and padding their resumes with AI generated slop and fake credentials?I get it if you're gen alpha or whatever they're calling the next generation, and maybe even younger people. You're growing up in a completely different world, but seeing 40 year olds suddenly pop up with zero relevant background, claiming they can do everything under the sun is kind of cringe. I'll give them credit for trying to play the game though.I'm just saying with AI making it easier than ever to present yourself as an expert overnight, I think we're about to see a massive influx of jokers who can talk the talk but have absolutely nothing to back it up, I guess that was the point with AI, I dunno, but its fun tow atch.

Can someone decompile Zbrush and Maya make some hybrid app that mimics Blender? A swiss army knife 3D software but with all the best industry apps actually compiled into one? The ultimate fuck you to the 3D industry for removing one time purchases and forcing us all into subscriptions..."Just use blender" Blender is okay but when you actually need to use it extensively for everything its flaws show and you realize how limited it is. Maya is still the best for rigging and animating, Zbrush still clears for sculpting insane poly counts at lightning fast speeds with better brushes and tools, Substance Painter is still the superior texturing program, Marmoset Toolbag is still the best for baking High to Low poly, 3DS Max is still just as widely used in the industry for the best non destructive modelling, etc.All these apps are still Dinosaur software with horrible UIs but they're still the best but with insane prices for entry. If I had money I would ask how I can do it myself but realistically I do not have the money or time to accomplish this feat.Zbrush's rendering engine is very uniquely built and optimized for sculpting which is why Blender can never surpass it because Blender has to be a traditional 3D software with real cameras but if there was an app that let you swap between traditional 3D and Zbrush sculpt on the fly it would be a God send.

>>110095466>Imagine3DI remember that name, but I’ve never really looked into it. Personally I would like to reverse engineer a particular CAD program as a learning tool, mainly its reporting and calculation features so claude would probably be pretty good at helping with something like that, but it would require a lot of information from my end. Without having access to the actual software, it would be difficult, although I’m sure there’s enough documentation and screenshots and other information out there to get somewhere close. There are pirated versions available, but this is one of those companies that will literally come knocking if you try running their software without a license. It happened to a coworker of mine. The idiot was running it at work, and apparently the software was phoning home. That’s how the business got caught. They showed up at the company and basically told the manager to either pay up or face a lawsuit. He agreed to settle, but even then he wanted to only pay for the cheapest edition, but the company had logs showing which modules their programmer had been using, and the whole thing ended up costing them close to $50,000.That’s why I think it’s better to work from screenshots, documentation, and descriptions of how the software functions rather than trying to run an unauthorized copy, but that would be pretty easy. honestly though, I doubt any of this will matter much in the near future. Once AI makes reverse engineering software this accessible, it’s probably going to become so commonplace that the whole issue will be a nothingburger. Basically a lot of companies will become like blockbuster video.

The models become so good that they can fully replace a senior SWEStep 3. They raise prices. Are you paying $100 a month? Prepare to pay now $15 000 a month. You say what? It won't work? Consider this: when AI becomes the engineer, running its own test suites, refactoring legacy subsystems, a project which historically required a team of three senior developers six months to complete, an AI lab can charge to execute it autonomously in an afternoon. No more SWE jobs but also no more vibe coding either. Thanks for playing and paying.

>>110096116Hmm, I wonder if they are pricing into the usage whatever API call costs they accrue from Claude accessing peoples websites?
>>110096055It's similar to TensorRT or AITemplate, so compiled, profiled, etc. but with a lot of extra features that make it more flexible than other compiled stuff, like supporting lora of any rank in the same module, loading gguf of any quant format, allocation modes instead of using max, and I support AMD and Windows as first class targets, originally I was using CK and CUTLASS but now I have my own kernel libraries, each model has a corresponding Rust crate that handles weight loading, pre/postprocessing, etc. I also made my own Rust GUI engine because I didn't like the dependencies of Tauri and licensing of some of the others. The UIs I've made so far are really just tests of the end to end vision, pic related, tiny releases instead of massive torch venvs. Missing lots out here obviously it's pretty big project. As for release plans I'm not sure yet, maybe the actual compiler system would be closed source but public compiled models and the Rust crates public because those could be useful for devs, for example I've been dogfooding for the cyberpunk project, I use the qwen3-tts crate for the generation from dialog manifests, then probably a bunch of UIs around the models with binary releases, but like I said I'm not sure, main reason is that I want to make money myself and my concern is that if I just released everything open source someone else would make money out of it before I could

>>110096152>>110096184the idea behind open source is distribution/adoption, and then gating pro / enterprise features (what does a power user need? how does a enterprise user scale and manage this?)i would recommend a copyleft license, meaning they cant copy your code for commercial reasons.
RESETVIBEGODS WE ARE SO BACK
>>110096314GPL doesn't stop anyone lol and technically it doesn't prevent commercial usage it's more nuanced than that. I think it could work with the partial open source I mentioned anyway, part of what I plan to do is acquire GPUs from each arch/generation to profile on them, I would be able to release ready to go compiled models optimized for each, so let's say you're a developer who wants to use qwen3-tts, you'd use the open source Rust crate which links up to the modules that you just download/distribute, or let's say you're an end user, you don't want to have to compile everything yourself and profile it etc. you probably just want to download a binary and run it

>>110096314>>110096387With this plan the pro/enterprise features could be like some kernels held out from public so higher performance in "pro" modules, or maybe some enterprise wants to integrate their proprietary models then they could license the compiler, I guess if the UIs were polished enough then end users might be willing to pay a small amount, I could also make specialized things like idk an OCR workstation for archives and shit like that, license that out

Maya has compatability with importing models and animations to engines without needing a bunch of plugins to correct everything its the superior animation and rigging software.Zbrush has a unique rendering mode that allows it to have such high poly counts that this theoretical software would need to be able to switch from traditional 3D and This hyper specified rendering mode for sculpting and then have dynamesh and remesh algorithms, polygroups, masking and cutting tools all the brushes, etc its way too much I doubt it could get done in a month with $200.
