>best email client for desktop
>best email client for phone
I thought you guys said Mozilla was over?
Thunderbird is thriving
>>
Thunderbird is quite disconnected from Mozilla since 2016 that's why its thriving
>>
>>110102794
not entirely
>>
>email client
What's wrong with web client?
>>
>>110102881
I'm trans btw, not sure if that matters
>>
>>110102881
my selfhosted email doesn't have a webclient
>>
>>110102881
>What's wrong with web client?
not using those
>>
>>110102773
Yeah, tho microsoft seems to have recently changed Exchange so now you need the owl add-on to use Outlook addresses
>>
I can't fully sync EWS with Thunderbird. Evolution is literally the only option. I've tried every single option in existence at this point.

By fully sync, I mean email, calendar, contacts and tasks. Thunderbird cannot do this.
>>
>>110102881
lack of multiaccount support, huge ram usage, lack of extensions and customizations
>>
>>110102773
I started using it a couple of days ago. I’m trying to replace Todoist and Gmail.
>>
>>110102773
>Mozilla
It's MZLA.
>>
I got their new mail service @thundermail.com it's kind of rough at the moment (UI/UX), but it's pretty functional and the spam filter, for some reason seems to be on point, much better than anything else, especially Proton (which I've mained for 2 years now).
They are definitely on to a good start.
>>
>>110102773
the desktop client is unfathomably shit

That's why he didn't say entirely disconnected.
>>
>>110102773
how is the iOS client? worth replacing Mail.app?
>>
>>110103781
>iOS client
I downloaded it via TestFlight, and it seems like it’s just a mockup for now.

aw :(

>Thunderbird is thriving
Hardly, check out Betterbird:
https://betterbird.eu/
in particular the feature table.
>>
I just wish the mobile app had PGP builtin. With OpenKeychain it always forgets my passwords.
>>
>>110102773
Thunderbird got cut loose from the rest of Mozilla. They're insulated from the rest of the company's retardation. Mozilla's still in deep shit.
>>
>>110103489
there's almost no good alternatives except eM Client
>>
>>110102773
it's weird how basically its only competition is that flaming fire that is outlook
>>
as if I have a choice
I used to use K9 mail all the time but it's owned by Thunderbird now.
