VXkex can only provide so many functions and it still doesn't include support for the WinRT API or driver kexes (So still no Sero for Nvidia 50 series on Windows 7). Eventually it's easier to port Aero to Windows 11 or Linux than it is to keep bolting on addons to the unmaintained 6.1 kernel.Windows 7 is being abandoned en masse due to lack of drivers and limitations of VXkexing. Firefox 115 is the only mainstream software remaining on 7 and eventually even Mozilla will give up. Twitch and X already have had problems working on Windows 7 and Mozilla had to grovel to their developers to keep it working because Firefox 115 is missing so many new web standards.
