the best high-end laptops are m5 macs. the best budget laptops are snapdragon x2. mid-end is a tossup between the two. every x64 shitbox gets sent to /dev/null

But Apple Silicon runs pretty cool, unless you're churning out epic AI cat videos or something. Even then, it'll sit on the lap comfortably. For most other things, you can just lay it on your chest while you're chilling in bed.
