what tech is still cheap, what will get expensive next due to AI faggotry
>>110110076Monitors maybe?Motherboards haven't changed much either.
everything, we will go back to times where only big corpos can afford PC
>>110110087>human interface devices>aiWat?
More expensive: water, gas, food , billsCheaper? the human workforce , working even more , if you don't work harder there are 10000 ai prompting jeets ready to replace youtiktok wagie, dance like you have never danced before at work now for shekelstein
>>110110103My bad. I'm answering the first part of the question, not the second. They're still cheap.
>>110110076All tech is cheap you poorfag. It's expensive compared to what? Retard. Even a piece of shit truck still costs like $10k.
>>110110127>All tech is cheapWrong. Relative to its size, it's expensive. A truck is much larger so it's normal for more metal to cost more.
>>110110143I assure you a $5k PC today is a million times better than a $5k PC from 20 years ago, which you needed to replace 3 years later because everything was already obsolete, inflation unadjusted.
>>110110157yeah but that's because tech back then was improving almost exponentially. Now it has slowed down to a crawl and only getting more expensive
>>110110188So what's your frame of reference for tech not being cheap then? What are you comparing to?
>>110110198the fact that my shitheap i bought like 6 years ago pretty much runs all newest games perfectly. back then such long timespan would make ur device almost unusable
>>110110212That's a point on my side of the argument, that tech is cheap.
>>110110076Luddite talk is still cheap
>>110110076Chink handhelds
>>110110076SSD's will get worse because engram technology means it will be a cost effective substitute for RAM at a still unclear %.
>>110110076Monitors are definitely cheaper than ever. I regularly see decent 27 inch monitors with 2K resolution 100HZ for like, 130-140 dollars on sale. Basic 1080p 27 inchers are like, 89-100 dollars.Motherboards were decent last I was at MicroCenter.Keyboards, especially mechanical ones, are hit and miss. You can get good deals on them, but I think the manufacturers of the switches are at max, but you're at the mercy at when they decide to offload surplus inventory.Switches are cheap. I can get a basic gigabit switch for like, 20 bucks. Anything with more than 2.5 gigabit is still heavy though.
