>>110111418Consider this:My eyes aren't cuck-tier faggotnigger trannyware and they work and rape every theme in their sight be it light or dark. Also light themes are dogshit because everyone uses gray text instead of dark gray / black so your eyes strain more on white than dark themes.

>>110111418Your own source says ambient matters. Why do think the dark/light switch button in any OS exists?
Consider these facts:OP is gay
>>110111548turn the lights on
Consider these facts:My OLED monitor/phones save power not running your shitYou are a nigger
Light vs Dark is solvedIt's light, some apps for variety or for constraints (spotify is only dark iirc) can be dark, system is always lightWhy? Because you can't avoid niggersYou set all your shit with darkmode then you use your browser and go to a random nigger page that flashes blindingly light, yes you can add darkmode extension, it will still flash a bit.Even then you go to 4chan or Social Media and there is always that fag that posts a blinding light msword screenshot that burns your retina. Not worth it. Best solution is to have a grey/pastel lightmode, doesn't blind you and accomodates a variety of rangesDarkfags are in denial and are so used to get their retina flashed they don't even notice anymore
Light mode during the day with light around you or during the night if you have the lights on. And dark mode for night with lights off.
>>110111673>dark mode for night with lights off.that makes it hard for your eyeballs to read text. either use a night lamp. or use light mode at a lower brightness.
>>110111418the Terminal is in darkmode for a reason
>>110111733I read perfectly in dark mode. I try to use the computer as less as possible with the lights off even using dark mode but if I do it I obviously prefer dark mode because it's less light and too much light is the main thing that strains your eyes. Difficulty to read in dark mode with low light also strains your eyes but it takes longer time. Too much light with lights off strains your eyes much faster. That is my experience.
>>110111418I don't care. I'm gonna use dark because I like it more. What's with this board's spergout about it recently? How autistic do you have to be to keep making threads about it.
>>110111418>1. Light mode does not strain nor does it damage your eyesIt hurts my eyes.>2. Reading text in dark mode does strain your eyes It depends on the lighting in my room, contrast, and monitor brightness /+ contrast.>3. Light mode is better than dark modeNo.>4. You can choose whatever you like, even the wrong one :)I want to take your penis and gulp down all that backed up ballsnot down my throat.
>>110111418if reading text in dark mode was straining your eyes, then terminals would have white backgrounds, it's been in like that since the beginning checkmate nigger faggot cunt retard
>>110111418I use light/dark mode so I know whether I'm posting under my gudboi non-anon acct or my nazi account
grey >>> light >> dark
your first link is about night mode which reduces blue light, not dark mode and from your second link >The researchers found significant thinning of this membrane when participants read text presented in light mode and significant thickening when reading text presented in dark mode. The thinning was more pronounced in participants who already had myopia.>This result seems to suggest that, even though performance in light mode may be better in the short term, there may be a long-term cost associated with it.uh oh, maybe you'd have been able to read them if you used dark mode
>>110111418I... hahahahahaha... I don't care... lmao.I'll use Dark Mode forever. Fuck your flashbang.
>>110111733>that makes it hard for your eyeballs to read text.Sorry to hear your eyes are completely fucked for some reason. I've been reading in dark mode since it was an option and its never once been hard on my eyes.
>>110111418From your sources>long term reading in light mode may be associated with myopiaI'll pass, thanks though
>mah experts>mah scienceThis means dark mode is better, if it wasn't they wouldn't try to suppress this truth with phony research
Dark mode is one of the funniest pranks ever. Right up there with blue light blocking glasses.
