Once again step closer to the original hardware synth: its firmware contains a table of waveforms which can be used as oscillator and lfo shapes so with the help of claude I reverse-engineered the dumped firmware .BIN file enough so that my synth can now import the original waveform tables. I won't store the original waveforms in my repo because that's Access music's property, but users can import the tables if they want. This was actually a pretty huge step because now the sound is way more closer to the original synth because many factory patches utilize those waveforms.Demo (catbox is broken for me): https://u.pone.rs/hhpdsyfv.mp4

How should I go about letting it implement computer graphics algorithms based on a paper?I want it running in Unity.Thinking about using unity cli or mcpwhich one?Another factor is how do I get it to have validation agents working. I imagine it could get screenshots and use the model multimodal functionality to look if the output is right.Doubtful if that'll work reliably though. I could get it to try to reproduce screenshots from the pdf but that seems unreliable as well. Also will I get by with a $20 plan?
I am impressed with parts of the model but some look not quite right but I can't really describe it. I wish I was more artistic so I could point out specifically what I want to change. Also the UI seems a bit strange. I was going for a mix between medieval fantasy and modern era ship. Thoughts on the look?
>>110118826opu55y $20 on medium might let you sneak out something decent, mcp saves context etc and has superior tooling that the llm understands better but it's a hot topic. validation gates should probably be something "run game xyz different ways, expect xyz result" although i'm not an expert on that. the model would probably know better than me. pulling screenshots from a pdf is gay and you should supply the raw files directly.

>>110118778Oh my condolences. I looked it up real quick. Do you have chorea already and can you rip some cool dance moves with it? On a serious note: Although not stopping the damage from the mutated protein or whatever, you may want to look into neurofeedback which can target and stimulate the basal ganglia directly. The neurofeedback principle is very simple: Hooking up your head with EEG sensors to read brainwaves. Reward you for good brainwave changes, annoy you for bad brainwave changes. That's the feedback mechanism, so you automatically train yourself. Could be something simple as turning the brightness of your screen to 0 for bad brainwaves, and 50 (or whatever is normal) for good brainwaves. works surprisingly well if trained every other day for an hour. and the effects do last. while the EEG reading and interpreting can probably not be vibecoded, the feedback logic definitely can, so you can pair it with everything. Neurofeedback solutions I know and can recommend are BioExplorer1.7 and Cygnet.

>>110118826Claude code with opus or fable does this automatically. Just give it python(incl. every single lib/package it might need) and related github repos. one example from me: I was wondering what the best technique was for precise and smooth depth occlusion edges where objects intersect. I gave it a few papers and github repos with implementations (most also unity) and a high quality pic of my current pixelated depth occlusion edge. Fable then took my example image with the pixelated edges, vectorized the intersection and pattern, ran various algos like soft occlusion(blur) and edge reconstruction(math) over it and provided me with comparison pictures for all of them. just out of curiosity I implemented all of them on the real unity project and they ended up looking exactly like in the simulation comparison generated from fable prior to it, with edge reconstruction being the clear winner as well.

Because the estimate could be a very simple skill. N amount of code edits required which is already scoped anyway, then multiplied with 20seconds or whatever the average is for one thinking+edit operation. compile errors take max 2 tries to fix. any compile error which takes more tries can and should not be accounted for, as 99% they require a human in the loop anyway

If there are any live service games you guys want to preserve, archive the most complete copy possible of it while you can. Now that anyone with 20 bucks can write a backend for them, I expect massive lockdowns in the following years. I'll start a series of projects for this kind of stuff, gonna call it open-gamename and open source as much as I can, with the goal of preserving offline playable copies of everything I like. From those projects, it would be trivial for LLMs to implement multiplayer back, so I won't bother with that part.

>>110119920AI is what frees us from the pajeets anon, you don't understand. The way software works is that you have seniors who know how to design software architecture etc, those then make small tickets with simple goals: Implement this feature. Optimize this algorithm. Write these tests. In the past, that was done by juniors. Then everyone didn't want to pay juniors, so they started outsourcing it. Yeah the outsourced work was shit, but it was so cheap it was still worth it. If any indian codekiddie could implement the request with 80% accuracy, and you could hire 4 of them for the price of one western dev, overall it was worth it.Hence all the outsourcing to india. Entire software empires built around being the "please do the implementation of this, which isn't hard but tedious" type of work. Now realize that that is exactly what agents are. Cheap, disposable, make mistakes but given their low cost you can just layer them to fix that. In the same way that you could use 4 indians at 80% accuracy to replace a western dev, now you can use 5 agents to do the same for even less money. These jobs were barely a thing in western softwaredev anymore before, and now all of them that went to india are now going to agents.Seriously, it's like a simulacra of outsourced devs: Cheap labor, excessively verbose, shitton of artifacts because assumption that more=better, often doesn't quite understand what you want, shit documentation, tendency to gravitate to popular frameworks and solutions rather than the right tool for the job.In short: AI is to india what india was to the west. But I'd much rather tardwrangle a few agents than some indian team halfway across the globe, because the agents actually respond to your requests and without stupid timezone differences. The future is looking bright.
>>110120240>Cheap, disposable, make mistakes but given their low cost you can just layer them to fix thatThat was true 1 year ago. Good luck finding a junior that makes as few mistakes as the current models.

>>110120249Sorry, I didn't word that well.I'm not saying a junior is better. Arguably most juniors weren't better than pajeets often either, depending on how bottom of the barrel the outsourcing was done. You had a junior to train him up to become more capable, it is more of an investment than for the actual productivity. There's only so many tests you really need. >That was true 1 year agoAgents are really good these days, but they still make mistakes. They shine at specific, well defined tasks. The whole "implement this feature" or "apply this algorithm". They do still suck at "make me software that does X"; Either they gravitate to a very specific generic software (in which case it works, but is generic) or they do still make a lot of mistakes, just different ones than humans do.All of that can be worked around today already with some proper agent wrangling, but it's still tedious. Given the way this stuff has developed, I don't doubt that the domain where you need minimum wrangling as well as the overall capabilities will grow though. But we're still far off from "make me [idea]" and it makes a perfect version of it, unless your idea was generic to begin with. Not saying we'll never get there, time will tell, but it's not today.
>>110119308Thank you for your service, fellow uma musume player

>>110120315I'm not disagreeing with anything you're saying honestly. Some things to keep in mind (but again, I'm not disagreeing):>Even if it's tedious today as you say, it proved to CEOs and managers that it was possibleTrue, but again, I see it as similar, albeit far more widespread than outsourcing. That had the same rationale.>That alone is making juniors unemployable, which is another can of worms since senior developers are still neededDefinitely, and it's gonna be a giant issue in the not so far future. You already see it, the investment angle I said only works if the guy stays with the company, which most don't, so why have a junior for more money and worse output than an agent if the junior can just quit once he has the skills and go somewhere better? No idea how that's gonna be solved if at all. >I don't think the job market will survive a few more years of iterative improvements and people should start to think about it now.I'm not quite as doomer about it as you. The ability of the average normie to understand tech is shockingly low. While it's going to fuck up the market a lot (especially if you're american, as devs in the US are very overpaid for their skillset for a variety of economic reasons), cheaper software will also induce a shitton of demand. Most of that demand will be taken up by agents, but not all of it. We'll move away from SaaS solutions to more hand crafted software for sure.Sure at some point the singularity/everything is useless argument makes sense, but realistically if LLMs improve at that rate, I don't really see any job that would be safe, human facing ones (so service, teaching etc) will just survive marginally longer, so why think about it too much? If we reach that level, we're in civil war territory anyway unless we get some weird socialist UBI type thing, in which case all bets are off anyway, so I'll not worry about it.

>>110120788It's an ideology war at this point because the people are retarded. In the beginning, when there was a good time to have a serious talk about AI art and what that implies for human art, a bunch of really butthurt people saw that AI wasn't all that good and rather than talk about the intended effect and value of art and how (and if) human and non human art are meaningfully different, which is a bit more difficult of a discussion to have, requiring introspection, they saw that "look ai is bad" is much easier to use as an argument.Issue is the argument breaks the second the AI gets good (and it did). Instead of then having the harder discussion about the value of art, they tried to shoehorn a moral angle into it. Environmentalism, intellectual theft and societal implications. None of these three were well thought out, but they were marginally smarter than the argument before, however they were still not sincere. As a result you now have retards who, as basis for their worldview, have "AI bad" and then retroactively argue everything else. They stick to the conclusion and look for the reasoning. That's why, in their worldview you are doing a morally bad thing, despite the fact that they can't quite argue why, which makes them even more mad. That's also why your arguments don't work. Imagine you were like "I'm just torturing kittens for personal enjoyment, what's the big deal", they believe that using the AI is, in itself, morally bad. Best not to take these people seriously. Time will take care of them quickly.
