What is the most powerful ThinkPad?
>>
Is it normal for a t14g2 to just randomly shut down after I put it to sleep?
Just put it to sleep and came back after an hour to the inital windows login screen and just as I was signing in with my fingerprint the screen went black and it rebooted, showing the lenovo logo.

I just had AI hold my hand to upgrade my T430s that was on Windows 7 to Linux. I never used Linux before. But AI told me to install Zorin OS and helped with every step even when there was an issue with installing the n-video drivers. Now everything just werks. Neat, thanks for reading my blog.

Congratulations on your first time using AI pajeet
>>
>>110125460
it’s a good way to transition but don’t be too dependent on it, eventually it’ll fuck up your entire system
>>
>>110125387
they told me it was a safety feature

You guys think I should replace the thermal paste?
>>
>>110127479
>Dell Latitude 3420
I wasn't impressed with 5320 build quality, 3420 should be a rebranded inspiron crap.
get a real big boys latitude fren, 5470, 5480, 5400 are some nice, chunky and somewhat modern models
>>
>>110127649
you already opened it so yes
>>
>>110127711
I know, just funny seeing how crusted up it is. I put PTM 7950 on there so it should be good for a while. I hear these thinkpads with the vapor chambers run through thermal past pretty hard
>>
Anybody know where I can get a replacement caps lock key?
>>
>>110128490
Just hold shift. Unless you have it bound for something important, like rebinding esc to caps for vim.
>>
>>110128490
Just replace the whole keyboard and get a civilized ANSI layout. I hate those weird big Enter short Shift layouts so much. A lot of ThinkPads in my country come from western europe with this trash layout, so I swap them for US ANSI keyboards whenever possible
>>
>>110130262
Based ANSI enjoyer, I always thought it was my burger bias that thought the rectangle enter key looked the best, but I guess others like it, too.
>>
>>110128490
>reprinted keyboard
Do yourself a favor and replace the whole keyboard with one that hasn't been violated
>>
>>110130262
ISO > ANSI
enjoy hitting that little backtick key when you go for enter
>>
I miss using my x200.

What happened to it?
>>
>>110136716
I'm trying to remember but I think the mobo died. Such a great keyboard on that thing
>>
>>110136782
Same thing happened to me.
