At this point, with rewrites in safe languages being basically free and instant, and LLMs being so good at finding vulnerabilities, there is no justification for continuing to use C. It's objectively the worst option however you look at it, premature pessimisation. From this point on, we should assume anyone shilling for C is a Mossad agent afraid to lose their job once C is out of the picture.
