I fell for the meme and got SSD's that you put directly into the motherboard and one of them failed in under less than 2 years.Meanwhile this bad boy has lasted me for like 20 years and is still going strong.
>>110136392>one of them failed in under less than 2 yearsWhat did you put on it?
>>110136418Thermal paste ofc
>>110136392yea bro just go back to sprinning rust
>>110136392Did you bother to do any research at all into your purchase? Did you buy used? Not all SSDs are created equally hust like bot all HDDs. Buy a shitty seagate SMR HDD and it will be slow and fail. I’ve only ever bought helium filled hitachi enterprise drives for HDDs, and enterprise grade Intel Optane SSDs that are going to last forever
next time dont buy a chinkshit ssd and buy a wd ssd
>>110136647>>110136469Kingston is a good brand
Running your OS on a spinning hard drive should be a cyber crime.

>>110136392You can use both anon.
>>110136392>i have one case of something bad happening
>>110136392Is there a reason why you shouldn't just use an external HDD today for files like music, pictures, videos and stuff that doesn't need much reading?
