>buys a new $4000 TV>gets weirdly targeted ads>uses Astra to jailbreak it and gets root access>gets banned by (((OpenAI))) within 24hrsWe sure do live in a society
>>110166760honestly, that's exactly what I would expect to happen. don't expect any mercy if you play resistance.
>automatic content recognition, geo positioning, network mapping, a targeted ads service, 4 distinct drm services, user profile building and so much more juicy telemetry!
>trying to use corpo AI to fight corpo ad spam>get bannedwhat did you expect? your fault for not using Chinese models, or better yet, local models
how does the TV listen to you when it's off? does it have an internal UPS?
>>110166898Do you unplug your tv every time you turn it off?
>>110166760>$4000 TVfucking how? I bought a 75" last year for like $300. What 'features' does this thing have?I was actually coming to this board to find out where/how to do this to mine, want to get it (HiSense) and Roku jailbroken/debloated. >>110166898>off?Nobody unplugs their TV retard.
>>110166898Blank screen doesn't mean it is off. Just watch the power consumption of it.
>>110166907>>110166909>>110166917have you tried not being retarded fatzos?
>>110166922no >>110164306

Smart TVs are one of the worst scams so far.
>>110166760cool. where do I go to get this?
>>110166898Most people don't disconnect their TVs from power when they turn 'em off. They just turn the thing off from the remote or such. Also even if you do disconnect power entirely, that doesn't mean it isn't spying while you're actually watching TV. At the very least you should never connect modern TVs to the internet, or intentionally connect them to a firewalled network that cannot reach the internet at all.
>>110166760The only winning move is not to own a TV
>>110166909>fucking how?oled
Boomerware is cuckware
>>110167151They're still that expensive? I remember seeing them in the UAE at the mall back in like 2012 (I think the Sony store) and they were about that price, but only like 30-40". Previous to that I saw my first OLED display at the Buckhead mall Jan 2009, and it was a 7"-10" display if memory serves. Figured the technology would be pretty cheap comparatively by now.
>>110166760Heres a thought: why someone who is tech savvy would want to connect his big TV to the internet? You want to see something on your television? Hook up a usb or a laptop with your pirated shit on your offline TV and watch it
>>110167223and yet, here you are...
>>110166760Is this because of that social media post going viral of the guy vibecoding his TV? Are AI companies now banning users who use the models to do stuff like that? I imagine the TV companies got pissed and told Anthropic and Open AI to prevent people from tampering with the TV's coding.
>>110167171You can get OLED TVs for way less than $4000, at such a high price I'd expect it to be a particularly large model or something. On the smaller sizes you should be able to find OLED for <$1000 I'm pretty sure.
>>110166768great game
>>110167053lol no
