I tried to figure out how an app I have would work on the Duo with the iOS simulator but couldn't get the simulator to even work (where normal iOS devices work fine). Probably 10 people will buy this thing anyway who cares, it's not like I test on Androud foldables...

You can see it in the bottom right corner of the screen toward the end of the webm. iPads used to work like this with iPhone apps so that's why I'm aware of it: apps default to the their native resolution, which is why it's tiny as shit. But if you press the expand button it does exactly what you described.
