>>110179119nah ill stay on brave. nigger
lmk when the next lts version drops kthxu
>>110179119Good job on the release, Claude!
Haven't cared for a Firefox version since v4.
>>110179163botnet>>110179183all software is maintained with AI now
>Fixed Firefox using excessive memory on Linux with AMD graphics when viewing map or place results on sites such as ChatGPT.i’m updooting so hard
>>110179119I love using firefox based browsers, I will never switch to chromium based. But every fucking time there's an update, there is always some new feature I need to disable in about:config.Last time it was picture in picture videoplayer in other tab..Please stop spewing 'features' on users that are default turned on, and cannot be disable easilyYes I already have ESR installed, I prefer waterfox though
>>110179226I just stopped (auto)updating.
>>110179119no thanks, i'll stick with the superior evropean browser
>>110179246>I just stopped (auto)updating.your funeral
>>110179163>t. chromium tard with his shitcoin
>>110179119Looks like they improved W11 Mica & MacOS transparency, my CSS looks pretty insane now on both systems.Legitimately nothing better than FF + uBO + Betterfox + Smoothfox, unrivaled, factually, even.
>>110179163I don't like that they want people to pay $60 to disable the built-in crypto stuff.
>>110179296I recently had to switch to Zen cuz Vivaldi fucked something up and I'm getting bullshit CPU spikes making the browser unusable and I'm waiting on an update that'll hopefully fix that
>>110179458NTA, Brave Origin is free on GNU/+Linux.But even with that, I have no idea what the incentive is, 80% of Brave users are on Windows & MacOS, who would even use Chromium on GNU/+Linux is beyond me.
After many years I tried firefox once again and uninstalled it after 20 minutes. How come scrolling on it so dogshit compared to chromium based browsers? I tried all kinds of settings and configs, that should improve the situation and it was awful regardless.
>>110179119>Lots of fixes!Did they fix that God awful Nova theme?
>mogged by chromiumNo thanks.
>>110179519>How come scrolling on it so dogshit compared to chromium based browsers? What OS? On Windows 11 it's as smooth as Edge & Chrome, on MacOS it's as smooth as Safari, at least for me, maybe your installation imploded somehow.
>>110179519>How come scrolling on it so dogshit compared to chromium based browsers? What's wrong with the scrolling? It works fine for me on W11.
>>110179529Win 10 with latest AMD drivers
>>110179119no thanks I am good with esr
>>110179574Hah, interesting, my friend has chopped scrolling on AMD as well but W11, though he has it on all Browsers + OS.
>>110179661I'm playing with zen browser instead and scrolling feels fine on it, dunno what's wrong with firetranny.
>>110179296Based, same. For us who loved Opera when it had Presto engine, the Vivaldi feels like home.
>Firefox randomly turns on his DNS setting back to default>Cant connect to devices on the same networkSTOP WITH THE RAPEI DONT CONSENT TO YOU CHANGING MY SETTINGS
>>110179731I just never (((signed in))) to anything and firefox never added a VPN or anything to the browserIt's not rape, creating an account = consent, you were asking for it and frankly shouldn't be tempting innocent tech companies by showing off your succulent user data like that
>>110179731>>Firefox randomly turns on his DNS setting back to defaultNever happened to me.>>Cant connect to devices on the same networkWhat does this even mean? Did you really log-in to a fucking web browser?
>>110179119good to see the improvements every release. switched to firefox this summer which was slightly rocky at first but im happy with it now. also, i got bored of the nova theme in a week and just turned it off. what about you guyshappy to finally leave chromium, although no hate to my chromium brothers. i got brave as backup/compatibility in case. best of both engines
>>110179119wait, they are now doing 2 updates each month? why?
>>110179878Remember when Chrome released and they updooted their major number like number with no rhyme or reason?Admittedly, it was ahead of XUL-bloat Firefox at the time, but many people unironically thought it was developing faster because the version was bumped faster. Years passed between Firefox 2 and 3. So Firefox began to version bump much faster...
waiting for the new Yokoffing...
>>110179907Looks like he's on a hiatus...
>>110179915Well shit. For the time being, browsing with the last version seems just as smooth
>>110179119Sorry but FF is dead to me now. Too much gay in.
>>110179878>wait, they are now doing 2 updates each month? why?to catch up with chrome and to put out more releases because AI is speeding up development.
>>110179878They actually release every Tuesday with a "tick-tock" schedule where they have a feature release and a bugfix release, along with emergency bug fixes out of schedule. This has been going on for months now and Chromium browsers do the same. It's all because AI keeps finding bugs.
>>110179759>>110179834IM HOSTING MY OWN SERVICES RETARDS I HOST MY OWN DNS RETARDSAN UPDATE RESET THEIR RETARDED DEFAULTS RETARDS
>still no native h265 supportKeklmao.
>>110180635Are you willing to foot their licence fee bill?
>>110179119>the Firefox shills still think they belong
>>110180678They could add FFmpeg support on Windows and MacOS so you could use libavcodec but they won't. Slimy troons.
This two-week major revision cycle shit is making it even harder to justify continuing to use Firefox but I'm not sure any competing browser would be any better in that regard.
>>110180537Dude stop yelling at me wtf? I'm sad now.
