investors don't care about profitability only hype. in 2026, hype is how you get stock price high not profits.

fukken newton was already saying that the market is irrational
this is nothing new.

It's too late. It's like a ponzi, you run it until everything crumbles.
It's money redistribution among shareholders.

free market is a retarded concept used by globalists to make a nation relinquish control over its economy

free market when pushed to its extremes means market manipulation, and monopolies
which means control of the market

the market CANNOT be "free"

This has been the norm for start ups for decades now. The bigger question is, can they not be sued by stock holders?

Corporate finance is too complicated for mortals. You hear "we'll never be profitable" and think "well, fuck that business, they're just a money sink, I can invest elsewhere" but, no, that's not the whole picture. A business that keeps failing upwards is actually viable as long as there's some kind of investment hook to keep new money flowing in, despite that money never actually manifesting in any positive impact.

Charles Ponzi was in fact mortal and he died a long time ago.

He also was a retard that made massive losses on the tulip mania
>>
>>110180582
you don't have to be profitable, you just need to grow enough to keep paying back most of your debt and borrow more to pay the rest. rinse and repeat until you can't anymore.

they will get profit when they got involve in amerimutt mic.

I think in US tech, as long as companies think you are the next big thing and/or you have the power to form the cultural consensus and sway elections you have the mandate of heaven - you can do no wrong and money is free.

(non-AI) tech seems to have lost this status, and people have suddenly started asking why are we building this overcomplicated shit that's also dog slow, when we figured out how to do this well 20 years ago.

This has affected (AAA) video games as well - they combine oldtech, with decreasing social relevance due to the dogshit habit of leftists to let the absolute worst kind of people rise to the top and dictate from there.

It's also why Zuck and social media in general will always be on the top.

AI still has both, though oddly despite it being the most generally useful thing to come out of SV in recent decades, I think it's cultural power is waning, as nobody likes AI slop, and general hostility and contempt is increasing on all levels of society. AI has somehow also proved itself to disadvantage 'respectable' parts of society, which has been eternally pro-progress.

pain is the best of teachers
iirc he also tried to rationalize
or maybe he tried to rationalize the market through maths bc he got burned hard

he said that, though
and being a notable person everyone who deems themselves intellectuals, should know that
its fukken newton after all
but hilariously enough, everyone gets burned and then they re formulate that principle it seems
rite of passage/penance for hubris

No—because they're gunning to be a public benefit corporation. Between that—and their upcoming bid to be the national regulators for SI—they will have zero accountability to anyone—including shareholders.

yeah because econ and finance 101 have almost no relevancy IRL where guys like pic rel can telepathically move billions around into random companies

A free market is a market that the government interferes with as little as possible. A monopoly is by definition protected by the government. You're very stupid.

Wouldn't it be deflation? It would be a chain reaction causing all of these companies to collapse in value and firesale their equipment
