>As models have become stronger, users increasingly want them to work autonomously. Ideally, a coding agent should take an informal spec, find a course of action that satisfies both the spec and the constraints and preferences it implies, account for the user’s blind spots, and execute without repeated corrections or clarifications.

It's more of a benchmark towards what you get when you prompt "computer do" instead of clear instructions on how you want the model to solve the problem.

It made me realize I maybe should be learning Chinese instead of Japanese, though.
>>
>>110184682
There’s strong evidence that many economic changes eliminate some existing jobs. There isn’t a general proof that most changes do, or that they reduce the total number of jobs.

The distinction matters because “kills jobs” can mean two things:
- Some jobs disappear. For example, agricultural machinery displaced farmworkers, and software has replaced certain clerical tasks. Research on industrial robots also found lower employment and wages in more exposed US local labor markets. shapingwork.mit.edu
- There are fewer jobs overall. That does not automatically follow. A change can eliminate some jobs while creating others: machinery needs to be designed, manufactured and maintained, and cheaper production can increase demand. How many jobs are created versus lost is an empirical question. American Economic Association
For a sense of the scale of turnover, US private-sector establishments lost about 7.2 million jobs through contractions and closures in the fourth quarter of 2025, while others gained about 7.8 million through expansion and openings. That demonstrates simultaneous job creation and destruction, although it doesn’t identify which changes caused them. bls.gov

So a defensible claim is: economic change often destroys particular jobs, even when total employment rises. Saying that most everything that causes any change kills jobs would need a definition of which changes count and evidence covering them; the examples above can’t prove it. And a net increase in jobs doesn’t mean the people who lost theirs readily find equally good replacements.

>machinery needs to be designed, manufactured and maintained
Not very relevant in practice. Let's say the farms used to employ a 100 people, the machinery lets them produce as much with 10 + 5 producing the machinery. The rest of the 85 get employed in "services" for the 15. They flip burgers, serve ice cream and build luxury yachts, almost all bonus luxuries instead of necessities. Because the actual farm output is so efficient the relatively pointless luxuries are valued highly relative to the farm output. Food is cheap so it's traded for the convenience and "social experience" of going to a restaurant.

When all 15 + the 85 service workers are replaced by robots they won't get jobs designing robots. Industries will arise around whatever stupid shit robots can't do, like weaving authentic mongolian baskets. Even though the robots can make better baskets they're not le authentic so the authentic ones are more expensive which signals status and drives demand for labor. At the same time the pressure to actually produce those baskets goes down because everything else is so cheap which drives the basket price even more up. So you make one le traditional, authentic thing in a week and have enough food and luxuries for a year.

Commie types will still seethe that the 1% has so many pointless baskets while the poorest have to settle with close to infinite food and luxuries.

It's to build a world location database that a VLM can caption, then agent can choose locations for quests. This version works from extracted coordinates of roads, vending machines, drop points, parking spots, fast travel points, etc.
Also building a MCP thing so the agent can explore itself and find stuff the extractions would miss

>>
>>110185693
The biggest wall you get when using it for business problems is business context itself. You need to babysit it a lot, feed it mini reports, clear requirements and then review it thoroughly so it isn't going into some inefficient loops.

^ this is what a software job has been reduced to nowadays and why everyone is only hiring senior talent because they have adequate experience to know the llm is taking a bad path.
>>
>>110185628
Ask it to use a wide variety of hexcodes related to red. Idk if you're using it for image generation or a front end design but in the later you just want it to come back with a lot of potential color combinations that can look nice. Then try out a lot of those combinations and see which one looks the most satisfactory. Designing and improving a front end has become actually satisfactory with llm models.
>>
>>110185863
honestly surprised Anthropic and OpenAI, etc don't start buying "legacy" low value near irrelevant businesses to train AIs on.
Like a lot of shit in the real world is driven by some of these low value businesses, imagine the training data locked away in "proprietary" data.
>>
>>110185887
Man, tailor your answer to anon’s current brain capacity and prompting skills.
>>
>>110185417
> using LLMs for things you have absolutely 0 clue about what you're doing

The LLM output is limited by user knowledge. If you don't know how to test and control the output or understand basic mechanisms you often end with trash no matter the model.
>>
>>110184618
You can't feed it business context. Most of my job consisted of asking additional clarifications on tickets, the tech work itself and programming has become a lot easier. Which I do like, now I can dump some ancient nested sql query code into a llm to make sense of it instead of taking weeks sometimes months to rewrite and solve a ticket. Some stuff that used to take 2-3 months now takes a week, maybe 2 with most of the time sitting in talking to stakeholders.

Full automation remains tricky. Any model gets worse the more output you ask it to deliver. But going chunk by chunk requesting snippets and functions of 20-100 lines is optimal from my experience.

>everything else is an opt-in per-neighborhood toggle:
>multi-lot Open World with 3-tier lot LOD and worker-thread pathfinding so routing doesn't freeze the main thread
>GPU shader Create-a-Style (64-byte descriptors, zero RAM bloat), TS4 room-based Build/Buy, built-in 6-DOF T.O.O.L. gizmo, push-and-pull CAS with height/body sliders
>TS1 toggle between classic 2D sprites and 360-degree 3D camera + dynamic lighting
>NRaas Relativity clock speed, caste-based Story Progression (rotational-safe), synced community lot time, 7-day calendar, multi-world travel
>built-in mod staples: TS3 traits, Emotional Inertia, ACR/WonderfulWhims attraction, split bank accounts/loans/taxes, live-in businesses, active restaurants, playable schools/hospitals
>native console mechanics: 3rd-person WASD/stick control, 2P split-screen co-op, Bustin' Out progression, Urbz rep, Medieval Fatal Flaws, PSP Sanity

I'm working on a voicegen studio for skyrim I'm making based off of omnivoice. with the help of claude.
I did it once the hard way, and then I set up a skill
basically it's writing lines consistent with the character and personnality of whoever I'm working on (in this case triss merigold), writing the quest, installing the mod, it just works, impressive.
if it's expanding characters already in the game, it pulls the voice lines/dialogue from the game itself. if it doesnt exist (Like I'm adding a new character from a different game) I can input dialogue i found online and it cut it automatically in clips to feed omnivoice.
in this case I'm working on a naughty mod, for a follower mod in skyrim

Pretty cool anon. >>110186714
Yes, I black hole local addresses with pasta and sandbox with bubblewrap. I have built a session control interface for myself that does all of this for me and takes exceptions (global or per project) for both, so that I can extend access on a case by case basis. And there's a dedicated tool built into it for bypassing the sandbox, so the agents can ask for that when needed.

The idea is that agents can run whatever they want if it only touches the part of the system I have explicitly allowed them to touch. If something outside of that is needed, they ask for the sandbox bypass tool.
>>

automation tools for work (this one can completely fuck up my work team)

Planned:
shared ride app for my local region (there's none)
rpg based on my city

shit is based, have had these projects for years now, especially work tools and seeing these being made so easily and actually work is freaking nuts

Sorry Sundar your model is already obsolete.
It got beat. You'll just have to take our word for it.

You can try it out here
Not yet available in your country.
>>
>>110187392
If theyre the ones pushing agentic coding dont they know that the engineers cant explain each and every line? AI does some very random shit sometimes, it works but you cant make sense of it at times.
>>
>>110187418
that sounds nice. That reminds me, I made an automation tool for my work (second job in sales), and it basically replaces the entire team. I haven't disclosed it to them yet since they paused operations for a while. I'm contemplating if I should tell them and if I do what should I ask in return.
Hell yeah anon, makes me really happy to see people make stuff they've always wanted/needed.
>>
>>110187435
they are relatively knew to all of this. i joined a year ago, but up until a few weeks ago using any form of ai was forbidden, we are making the transition now. though, personally i don't have any professional ai experience so unsure how this should really go
>>
>>110187392
Part of the growing pains of transitioning to a new workflow unfortunately. People apply old standards to new things without adapting them. Have you tried talking with the lead about it? And if you work with a bunch of corporate cunts, write an email and have the clanker reword it to corporatese.

>>

Don't think too much about it imo. Just consider it a tool like any other, and use it when you need it. You should be fine.

>>
>>110187460
Yeah I'm kinda worried what will happen if I present this tool to my manager. They doubled the team size to handle the work better but this tool is completely mogging everyone, it's fucking insane. I'm quite sure I'm not at risk but I'm kinda worried about the others, one guy just became a father like two months ago. We have a pretty amazing relationship, it's a small company so I'm worried this can cause some disruption. My manager isn't all min-max on finances but this could cut big costs on us. I think I'll keep it to myself and keep it as a card if something happens.
