What's the keyboard equivalent of pic related?
>>110185839redragon vata pro
>>110185839logitech mx mechanical
>>110185839>>110186115I have both
>>110186130it just werks
>>110185839whatever keyboard comes covered in a melty sticky rubber
>>110186115It sucks
>>110186115the alto keys are also a good one from logi, with a slightly shitty compressed format of the numpad and arrow keys, but otherwise 96% functional like its layout
>>110185839literally this
>>110188410this one is good
>>110185839Near-perfect but gimped in the most retarded ways possible on missing features that exist on the same company's other line of peripherals? Since that's what the MX Master mice are.
>>110185839I was looking at buying this mouse tonight. I won't after learning it only works with bluetooth, you can't use while connected to a wire.
>>110185839>performative productivity device for corpo workes and trans communityprobably keyboards from thinkpads
>>110192498>performative productivity device I thought those were a gaming thing. What does it allegedly add vs a $10 no name office mouse for general office productivity tasks?
>>110192573it has second scroll wheel (for horizontal scrolling), touchpad under thumb with gestures and that is it. Tbh i can squeeze more productivity from MMO gaming mouse (or any mouse few few extra keys) and autohotkey but it looks like general market really like this MX stuff.
>>110192618>horizontal scrollingThis is legitimately useful. Imo the best mouse I've used for horizontal scrolling was an otherwise uncomfortable to hold Apple USB mouse that had a little ball instead of a wheel. The scrolling direction snapped to whatever way you were mostly moving the ball, so it wouldn't accidentally horizontal scroll some while vertical scrolling. Other solutions like tilting wheels suck ass, and having it in the same place as vertical scrolling just felt intuitive. Middle click auto-scrolling or holding shift will do though.>touchpad under thumb with gesturesFuck gestures. Buttons are better.>MMO gaming mouse (or any mouse few few extra keys)These are neat in principle but I've always just assigned AHK things to otherwise unused key combinations I can hit with my left hand. The keyboard seems like the more sensible place to put spare keys for macros too. Like how some older PC keyboards had 2 columns of F-keys on the left in addition to the ones along the top. At least if those send a different scancode that would make a perfect set of keys to put macros on.
>>110192653I just asigned these buttons to F13-F25 (or something like that) so I dont need to use razer/steelseries or whatever software for macros, and then I vibecoded few macros for autohotkey, asigned to F buttons. It works well in my application - 2d cad.It depends on what you do, but in my case, these buttons save me thousands of clicks a day. (In AutoCAD, you typically trigger functions by typing their names on the keyboard and hitting Enter, sometimes a whole sequence requires typing several commands, clicking, pressing Enter, etc, whereas here, I’ve been able to simplify that down to a single click of a mouse button.) Tbh can't work without that, sucks that tere is almost zero choice on MMO market - few chinks clones, aerox 9 that I broken, Naga hyperspeed that I have and something from EVGA an Corsair.
>>110185839The only thing I hate about it is the battery life
>>110189863I have the 10-keyless version of this and I can honestly say, everytime I show at the cowork I can tell every pussy in that room is getting mad soaked as i pull it off my fine faux-leather bag.
>>110185839I found the equivalent. It was harder than I thought it would be.
