No. Me, J.K Rowling and H.P fans are not transphobic, none of us preach for the systematic elimination of people that identifies themselves as trans.> Not only you're regurgitating Rowling's work, it even has Malfoy turned into a biological female.Rule 63 never was considered problematic before the advent of trans activism, you're making an storm in a cup of water.> I wonder how people are okay with thisIt's just a fun trend, and maybe you should stop looking everything from Antonio Gramsci's and the Frankfurt's school perspective. Making everything political and about social justice is just a way to virtue signal. I don't think this need to be said but because we live in post-modernity I'll say it: my response is not an attack to your person or what your believe nor I wish any sort of harm towards your person, and I hope you understand my perspective, if you don't well, there's nothing I can do about it. >>110203406I installed Omarchy on a Windows machine in two minutes and 20 seconds and got bored of it by the 1-hour marknow I have Debian on the machine and it’s the right kind of boring
>>110209772well huh, I guess I sort of know both heterosexual furries
>>110216683holy sex!
>>110216855If you were bored that fast, then it reinforces what I've been telling DHH; the on-boarding is shit. You can't even see all the stuff Omarchy can do in an hour. But since you get literally one toast telling you the keyboard shortcuts, and one telling you to set your default agent, and that's it, then it's really easy to get bored because you don't even know what to do next. There's nothing telling new users how to use their agent with the Omarchy skill, there's nothing pointing them to the plugin marketplace or to the extra themes page... I did a survey following up with 10 users who went to the discord for help like the distro tells them to, all 10 were told "ask your agent". When I followed up with them, only 2 out of the 10 knew what that meant, and 0/10 had even heard of the plugin marketplace. 200,000 downloads in the first few days after 4.0 came out is great .... But only if you can retain those users.
>>110217429I knew I theoretically could hook up Claude to it and there are a gazillion vibe-coded apps out there for itand I’m glad I tried out the tiling WM that was pre-set-up by someone who cares about the UX for that sort of thingand I’m very glad that SOMEONE out there has the mindset of “we have the tokens. we can fix EVERYTHING” which I can only hope will shame the rest of the GNU system people into making better stuff faster instead of having Emmanuele Bassi say “no, fuck off” just because the people working on GNOME are time-constrainedbut for casual occasional use I’d rather just use GNOME and have Claude fix things up
>>110217429>>110217455nta but i think nixos is probably a better fit architecture for vibe setup/management
>>110216683sorry not enough freckles.
>>110217455Damn.. dubs both times, and 55 both times. Yer a wizard 'arry. The Omarchy community is actually pretty focused on making Omarchy the best we can; it's a distro that is an actual community effort rather than this disconnect you get with distros like Fedora or Ubuntu where you have zero hope of getting one of your projects added upstream unless you're well known, or have the right friends. With Omarchy anyone can make a theme and throw it on GitHub and you can install it with omarchy-theme-install, anyone can author a plugin then write a PR to have it added to the default, etc. Every user can contribute as much or as little as they want. Which of course gets us all branded as shills for just saying the name of the distro but idgaf.
>>110217608Not sure what makes Nix a better fit than a distro literally built around ai.
>>110218447bunch of assistive scripts for ai does not necessarily mean the os is a better architectural fit
