>>
Gonna go work the slopes in Alaska. Looks like tech is a dead end
>>
am I crazy when I say I am fine with covering 80miles with train + bike to come into office? Its 1h40m I used to do 1h20m for uni. I am constantly told to look for a flat in the area.
>>
>>110218236
How many days in the office? I do something similar but only come in 2 days per week which is fine. I think maybe 3 days might be possible. Greater than 3 days I could not cope with it.
>>
>>110218236
Train commute isn't nearly as bad as car commute because you can do things other than just drive in the train.
>>
>>110215123
I wonder how Jonathan Winters is feeling right now.
>>
Since no one hires entry level devs anymore, how is QA doing? Somewhat safe from the AI apocalypse?
Would I pigeonhole myself into something without being able to branch out later?
>>
>>110217148
What job is that you are referring to?
>>
>Just got my A+ cert this last year
>been working at CPR cell phone for 3 years
>still haven't been able to get any full time entry IT support jobs

what the fuck is this economy
>>
>>110224558
isn't CPR, phone repair. Better than entry level IT jobs like helpdesk?
>>
>>110224573
Depends on the franchise; many have opportunities for advancement and training; just not my store unfortunately.

honestly a lot of guys with way more experience than me, like Cisco certified, can't find anything decent and are stuck working working on cell phone repairs.
>>
>>110224573
part time I might add
>>
>>110220804
It's not even safe from the jeet apocalypse.

>>
>>110224558
literally every tech company has been going crazy with offshoring entry level work to H1B jeets. People will blame Ai, and while thats partially true most of it is literally because of Indians.
>>
>>110224558
i was about to waste money the A+ but thanks for convincing me not to bother lol
>>
Its been 7 months since ive gotten my degree and still havent been able to get a job.

Had to work part time retail again and its a little humbling but i've decided to enroll in my local community college's Electrician program this upcoming spring. Just kind of giving up on every working in tech at this point, and I want to learn some skills that are actually useful rather than make me a ton of money.

As indians takeover it changes from outsourcing to just hiring their own people

Any fellow unemployable bum want to form an agency or cooperative together? We take on shitty freelance projects or find funding for a project.

I've been thinking of creating an upwork alternative, but contractors are hired as randomized teams (2-3), and the pay is equally shared. Teams may the disadvantage of having freeloaders or poor performs, but it also allows low-visibility workers to get a change.

And the job listings will be enforced to have clearer, measurable objectives.

Unless your country has a living standard below India, that will change very soon. Modi swoops in whenever a country tries to start a tech sector to DEMAND that country provide his 2 billion Hindu invaders with visas and be handed those jobs. They don't come to work hard labor, they come only for the good tech jobs. They're locusts.

I assure you even as we speak, your country's Jewish leaders are talking to your leaders and convincing them that Indian Hindus are the best migrants (don't look at India though) and your country has magic soil that will transform them into productive, civilized humans so let all 2 billion in.

What do bros?
>>
>>110233893

I'm just here to see what tools you people are using to "hack" the interview process so I can get a promotion by telling my HR manager and we can block it. AI resume editors, cheating services, etc. But as always nothing of value ever comes from these threads.
>>
>>110230338
Ermm you might want to check again bro.

I'm in my last year of uni now and I have zero work experience. Trying to get an apprenticeship/part-time job. I wish I hadn't jerk off all day instead of finding a job for the past 5 years, but then again work sucks. I think cybersecurity and networking are way more resistant to AI or jeets than programming so I'm trying to get into those. I'm from an EU country that is poor enough for the tech companies to still hire locals instead of outsourcing or H1B shit.

It's annoying that my local grocery store has a Panda Express in it and every time I buy groceries I want to get Chinese food, but then I remember that Panda Express is for rich job havers and not worthless pieces of shit like me

You can't outsource plumbing but you absolutely can outsource IT jobs. It's a miracle that there are still tech jobs left in the US, I guess bosses just really prefer to watch over their slaves personally
>>
>>110220804
Few days ago I set up QA station that tests a device all by itself. I tell it to test, it does. Physical device. Screen, keyboard.
>>
Stalin was right. And we should kill CEOs and HR for making 'ghost jobs' a thing.

Wait till the invaders spill out of tech and start infesting our nuclear and biological weapons research facilities, and doing the same thing to them that they did to our tech companies....hindpoos are literally a human extinction level threat and no one is talking about it

>>110239365

Ironic considering tech/IT is far more critical infrastructure these days than plumbing is.

>>110239398

Blame the Wall Street Jews for that. Every tech company needs to look like it's having expoential growth all the time or face a massive selloff. So they all spam fake jobs to look like they're growing even though their earnings reports makes it clear how fucked tech is.

Make a second email with an Indian sounding name like Ratjesh.Vishnupedo@gmail.com Then apply with a typical H-1B resume and ask about sponsorship. If you get rejected again, it's legit or a ghost job. If you get a follow up, HR is a hindpoo and you should go over her head to the first non-poo in the chain of command and threaten legal action.
