I thought it would be, but no picrel is what's in the readme. It's not especially clear imo. I think they wrote it mainly with their API in mind, and that must do some auto-resizing for the users.

ACEStep instruments have too many artifacts plus its Japanese needs work (skipping lyrics and not understanding Kanji as well) so this definitely an improvement

I wouldn't say it's better overall yet, have yet to get a really good Yousei Teikoku LoRA out of YuE's community tokenizer, whereas ACEStep one was pretty good, but so far so much is possible.

left pic is a typical example i was getting with sft, i was trying to make a more hand-drawn look but it kept coming out too realistic/clean. middle is the first gen after only switching to base, right is after adding more details to the prompt with base and i got much closer to what i wanted. it was also far more reliable in generating details like the four arms and lip fang.

if you do just want hyper-realistic clean images then sft is designed for that, but if you try to steer it away from that it will fight you in ways base doesn't
